I placed an order last Saturday. Everything went through all right. I don't hear anything. Today I check my account to find there's no order listed, no explanation, just no orders on my account. I check my email to find Amazon email that the order has been canceled, and my account has not been charged. Oh? Then why is there an amount missing from my balance, not posted to my account but the amount is missing.

Amazon lost my plasma TV. Now, they won't replace it. I've been waiting for a week for them to tell me when it will be here. Finally, I had to spend my day talking to the shipping company to find out that they lost it. The customer service folks can't/won't do anything to help. Buy at you're own risk. If something goes wrong, Amazon won't help.

AWFUL!!!! I ordered 2 items for the first time this year

Amazon has got into the business of mail fraud. 11 days after my order, I realized that they initially shipped it to me but then had UPS change shipping to another location in another state! When I called, they kept giving me the run around. I requested another shipment. After a lot of hassle, they finally gave a refund which I did not even ask for! The customer service is horrible. But what troubles me is that I can't even trust them with shipping any longer. My family and I will STOP using Amazon - that's our new year's resolution!

I ordered some Christmas gifts on Amazon.com and was thrilled that they would be delivered before Christmas. The items were to arrive on 12/21. On 12/21 they weren't here so I tracked my shipment and it said it was delivered but the items weren't here. I called Amazon.com customer service and explained the situation. I was put on hold and I figured I would have to talk to a long line of managers before being told it was the shipper's fault not theirs and I would have to reorder and I would have to pay extra to have it overnighted. Not the case - the same person came back on the phone and said she created a replacement order and that I would have it tomorrow!!! Amazon.com SAVED CHRISTMAS!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!

I won't be using Amazon again to do my christmas shopping, amazon are not reliable for xmas shopping.
I've used amazon for years and this is the 2nd time my orders have not arrived at christmas time. placed my orders in November, amazon dispatched them in early December, It's now the 20/12/10 and i still have not recieved them, 1 order should of arrived on the 7th December and the other the 10/12/10.

This review is specific to wireless.amazon.com. After working with them around their supplier problems Since Nov. 17th, including direct and helpful contact with three of their associates, they suddenly, unannounced, and capriciously cancelled the order on Dec. 13th. Dampened Christmas for my teenage kids who were looking forward to new Droid phones.

The reason given for the cancellation was a policy that an order could contain no more than three Android phones. Why this didn't come up earlier, and why they cancelled first and notified later, are mysteries to me. Neither the order engine nor the three aforementioned employees gave a hint of this policy. Strange policy anyway. A family with two teenagers is supposed to tell one that s/he can't have an Android phone? Unlikely

Good selection of products but there customer services department are terrible. I ordered Christmas presents for my children and they were sent to me unwrapped (bar one item). Contacted customer services for an explanation and it took 10 minutes for the Indian customer services representative to understand that I was calling about unwrapped items - it took four attempts to explain this issue to the representative before he understood. Additionally, in the 20 minute call, the representative got my name wrong every time calling me MR and then my first name - I told him about 20 times to use my proper name and then just gave up. Appalling service and I'll not be using them again.

The best online store for me. Shopped a lot of times from car parts, clothing, electronics and more. Always got my order within a week. Amazon emails me what is going on with my order. I do not even need to log in to know about my order. I get emails automatically from order confirmation to shipping. Easy return too. Got one defective car part that I ordered, complained online, got another one being ship out the following day. Plus Amazon emailed me a shipping return label at their expense. Amazon for me is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ONLINE STORE. I give you 5 stars.

Made a purchase with a gift certificate and charged remaining balance credit card, when i received the emailed invoice the next day I realized they charged the entire purchase on my credit card. They refused to credit my card back and apply the gift certificate. They said "it is impossible since the order had been processed" I couldn't believe it...what a load of bull! This is their error and now I am expected to pay for it. Will never use or recommend again!

Experienced a problem with my order. Ontrac is carrier and says they made delivery attempt but did not (I was sitting here waiting all day). Amazon "can't get ahold of anyone there". I spent an hour on the phone with Amazon with NO help at all. Then finally called ontrac and they answered first ring ... however, they were unable to explain what happened. My main problem with Amazon is that you cannot talk to anyone in the United States. I literally spent 30 minutes on the phone with a manager who was unable to give me ANY WAY to talk to someone in the United States. I literally hate amazon now. I refuse to give any more of my money to a company where I can't even talk to someone via phone, email, or any other method that is in the United States. I'm shopping local from now on.

I've purchased a lot online and honestly the easiest RMA (returns) online and the cheapest have come from Amazon - great if you buying expensive computer equipment - most places restocling fee is 15% plus loss of shipping on both sides - I rarely lose more than 15 dollars on even large purchases with Amazon - may cost a little more but worth the assurance that you aren't boing to lose a 1/3 of what you paid for it if you have to send it back.

I am not a big online fan...always want to go to the store and see what I purchase. But recently, I have come to enjoy Amazon. Not only is the delivery quick and in many cases FREE, but the prices are many times lower. I would frequent the health stores to purchase my vitamins and protein supplies. It would be very inconvenience at times to drive to the store. When I add up time and expense for me to go to the store and buy regular items like nutritional supplements, it is much easier to order from Amazon.
