Originally placed an order which came defective, and I originally would have preferred that they simply replace it. Amazon cancelled the order and provided a refund, and I placed another order. On the second order, the price increased. I called Amazon and they wouldnt let me reorder the same product same at originally agreed price. When I make a commitment to order at an agreed upon price, I feel that Amazon should make the same commitment, and honor the original agreement, if there’s any way to accomplish that. In this case, it would have been easy to do so, and Amazon refused to go to bat for me
Is Amazon service going down the tube? Is this the service we deserve?
Overall, I’ve had very good service over the years, with minimal problems that were simple to solve, but if this is the case I'll shop some where else. The main reason we do business with Amazon is SERVICE, and to provide the product as advertised with out issues and problems, AND to promptly respond to issues and solve them.
I have also contacted the vendor and am awaiting a response, however, I feel that if Amazon accepts our order and they receive revenue from this, they should contact the vendor, if there is an issue.
Who is a good substitute?
