My internet shopping experience with Abe's of Maine was just as promised. Ordering my Panasonic Lumix digital camera was very easy. Abe's followed up with a phone call to verify my order and remind me of needed accessories. My order arrived on time, was accurate, and as advertised. I will not hesitate to make future purchases with Abe's and recommend Abe's to others.

Friendly sales person. Called to verify order which took 2 days to complete because of playing phone tag. Lens was exactly as stated and in perfect shape. Would have liked a little quicker shipping, but otherwise great experience.

I contacted them on Monday and ordered a Nikon Digital Camera. I received an email with the tracking number the next day. The shipment was on time and the item I ordered was in the box. Therefore, there delivery was fast and the order was accurate.

This was my first order from them, and my camera initially went into delayed status (4-12 days). I had e-mailed them to ask how quickly they could get one, because I needed one quickly, and they responded that same day, and then shipped one 2nd-day Air instead of Ground (which I had paid for). That's a $20 upgrade on their site! I will definitely use them again.

Abe's Of Maine accepted & processed my camera order when it was out of stock & was discontinued. I was informed of this one week after ordering. They charged my credit card & took several weeks to credit my account after I canceled my order.
I will never do business with this company again. Beware!
However, I received a call from a very pleasant Customer Service Supervisor three months later to rectify these issues and to compensate me for my inconvenience.

Went online, found Abe's to be offering the camera I wanted at the best price I could find. Placed order, soon received a call from Abe's to confirm the validity of the order. That vigilance on the part of the vendor was appreciated. Received shipment promptly. Good shopping experience.

I ordered a digital camera from Abes of Maine not just because of the price they offered, but because I was familiar with their reputation as a reputable dealer. First, I must say that they were up front and honest when I contacted them, telling me when the order would/did ship. That said, I was disappointed that their web site doesn't update immediately; no tracking information was posted and when I called the day it shipped, they said their in-office computers didn't update with that information until the following day, by which time it was already delivered. Knowing this, however, will not stop me from using them again.

Excellent. Have purchased two cameras and one photo printer from them in the past 4 months. Excellent company to deal with; prices are one of the cheapest, and service was fantastic. Called them a couple of times with questions, and they were really good to deal with. Highly recommended!

Good service pre-sale on their 800 number from a helpful, knowledgeable person. Online transaction was smooth and easy, no problems. We received a follow-up call, on Sunday, asking if we would like to purchase an extended warranty. The item was received earlier than projected via UPS ground shipping (3 days) and was packaged very well.

My wife attempted to buy a Nikon D70 Kit with Lens from Abe's, after she had placed the order they had her call to "verify" the charges. When she called they started doing a hard sell on accessories, 1) don't buy the lens it is terrible - get a Sigma instead, 2) You know that Nikon only ships a "starter" battery with the camera body so you need to buy a real battery (load of crap since Nikon ships the camera with the standard EN-EL3 battery), 3) the old "You need a UV filter - for you they are 50% off our price since you buying a camera" turns out the price was 99.99 before the 50% off. There was so much negative hard sell my wife called me - I told her that they were full of it and to cancel the order. At least they did do that. - they can get a 1 for actually canceling
