Missing an anniversary, birthday, holiday...priceless. Refund from 1800flowers, about 20%.... They DON'T deliver!!!

I have ordered before from this HORRIBLE company and never been satisfied. I once ordered flowers to be delivered on a specific date. I got nervous as the day wound down and no delivery confirmation from that special someone. I checked online, and saw no problems. Finally, I called and after about an hour of "tracking down your order" found that the flowers would be TWO days late!!! Would they have ever told me if I had not asked?

Just today, I had TWENTY FOUR MULTICOLORED ROSES that were to be delivered to the love of my life. Well, 11 roses and a carnation showed up, and not even arranged nicely. I understand that they use local florists and sometime you cant EXACTLY get what you want, but I got half of what I paid for, and a pretty bad half at that. I have not yet been 100% satisfied with them, and will not try again

Finally, let me say that flowers are a very unique way to say you care. They must be timely and exact in almost every case. 1800flowers seems to not understand this at all. And if you read most complaints, you will find that they are stingy with refunds (maybe because there are SO many??). No amount of money can undo a missed anniversary, holiday, funeral, birthday, etc. I would love to see this company pay for all the problems they cause.
