A cheap card that doesn't sound....cheap
Pros: Dirt cheap, excellent sound quality, quick, easy upgrade. Cons: Bloatware, requires additional purchases for TOSLINK connection. Bottom Line: Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! is a good, inexpensive sound card.
Pros: Inexpensive, reliable, good sound quality, nice set of included utilities. Cons: Average audio quality compared to higher-end cards, otherwise no problems. Bottom Line: Great Value!
Pros: Wave Table Midi and HQ A/D conv. Cons: connectors for 6.1 and 7.1 output are very hard to get Professional audio on an extreme budget
Pros: Great sounding 24 bit audio at a low price. Nice built in effects. Cons: No support for ASIO drivers |
