The Kodak EasyShare DX7630 digital camera offers apertures from f2.8 - 8.0, shutter speeds from 1/1400 to 64 seconds, and has a choice of full auto, scene, aperture priority, shutter priority and manual modes. Focusing is achieved with a combination of phase and contrast detection, and shutter lag including focus time in continuous AF mode is said to be just 0.3 seconds. As with several of Kodak's recent models, the DX7630 features the company's "Share" button, which allows you to preselect photos for printing or emailing when the camera is connected to a PC, as well as to store low-res duplicates of favorite images in the camera. Photos are stored in 32MB of built in memory or an optional SD / MMC memory card, and can be previewed / reviewed on a 2.2-inch, 153,000 pixel LCD display. The new model is also compatible with the optional EasyShare Camera Dock 6000 and EasyShare Printer Dock 6000, which allows for image transfer to a PC over a USB connection, and in-camera recharging of batteries.
