Bolle recommends this lens for everyday, all purpose wear. Lenses are made of shatter resistant polycarbonate and are 100% ultraviolet protective. Please note that there exists more than one version of the Vigilante frame and these replacement lenses therefore may fit various frames differently. For example, the Vigilante 2 lenses tend to be a little thicker than the original Vigilante lenses and other versions may fit differently in other ways as well (too loose or too tight).
