Calumet Seamless Background Paper This high-quality seamless paper has a fine tooth, non-reflecting surface. Available in over 40 different colors, including the finest available photographic black and white. We make an extra effort to make sure your background paper arrives safely. Each 107 x 140 wide Calumet background paper is wound on a tough, rigid core for extra support. It s wrapped in a plastic sleeve to trap out moisture and dirt, then packed in a sturdy tube or carton for protection. Calumet solid-color muslin backgrounds are constructed from 100% cotton muslin. The muslins are mill dyed using reactive dyes and then steam dried, making them lightfast and will not fade over time. Each muslin comes with it s own carrying bag. Random wrinkle patterns on the backgrounds can produce pleasing photographic results. To achieve this affects, unfold the muslin and stuff it back into the background bag for several hours or overnight. If a smooth background is preferred the muslin can be steamed or ironed. This muslin is machine washable on gentle cycle in cold water with a mild detergent. We recommend that you wash separately the first time, as some color may run off during the first wash. As with any fabric, repeated washings could cause fading. Note: This muslin is not flame retardant. Minimize

To achieve this affects, unfold the muslin and stuff it back into the background bag for several hours or overnight. If a smooth background is preferred the muslin can be steamed or ironed. Since they contain acrylic paints we do not recommend washing. If it is absolutely necessary to wash your muslin, we recommend hand washing.
