Royal Esmeralda Fine Dry Amontillado (20 Years), from a Solera established in 1894, is one of Sandeman's Rare wines. Very intense, dry and round in mouth it combines complexity of age with freshness of an expertly managed Solera, epitomising style of Sandeman Sherries. Sandeman Royal Esmeralda Fine Dry Amontillado has an attractive amber colour with golden highlights, opening onto a complex nose, where pungent notes of original fino have been gradually softened over years, creating a deeper, more fragrant wine. On palate it is clean and full, nutty, dry yet very smooth and light. Very complex with a long intense finish. Sandeman Royal Esmeralda Fine Dry Amontillado is perfect on its own as an aperitif, or as a match to salty cheese and smoked meats. Sandeman Royal Corregidor Rich Old Oloroso has an attractive mahogany colour and an appealing complex character with great depth. intense nutty aromas typical of very old Olorosos are offset by notes of raisins. Extraordinarily rich on palate, it combines complexity of old Oloroso with lush ripe fruit of Pedro Ximenez in a perfect balance. It has a rich, velvet feel in mouth, recalling all of its aromatic complexity and stimulating senses with a very long finish. Produced from Palomino grape grown in Sandeman's own vineyards located in best areas of Jerez demarcated region, wine matures in a Solera, under?flor (a veil of yeast) for a minimum of five years. Pale straw yellow colour, with shades of green and gold. Bright and clear with an aromatic, very pungent aroma, influence of maturing under Flor.
