This wine is from Italy, Piedmont region, Asti sub-region. The Saracco winery is located in the village of Castiglione Tinella, between Alba and Santo StefanoBelbo. For four generations the Saracco family has produced a wine that is considered the referencepoint for Moscato d’Asti. Now managed by Paolo Saracco, careful vineyard management and strictcontrol over the entire winemaking process has added to the family’s reputation and led to Paolo’snickname, “The Maestro of Moscato.'Situated throughout the Castiglione Tinella appellation, the terroir and microclimate of the family’svineyards are particularly well-suited for the Moscato grape - limestone mixed with sandy veins andelevation levels that provide just the right temperature and humidity levels.. Produced from Moscato Bianco Canelli sourced from various estate vineyards in the village of Castiglione Tinella in the Cuneo province of Piedmont. Fermentation takes place in special pressurized tanks. After roughly a week of fermentation, when the wine has reached the proper balance of alcohol, sugar and acidity, it is chilled down and fermentation is arrested. The wine then goes through a sterile filtration to eliminate the yeast, and is bottled cold. To insure freshness the wine is fermented one tank at a time, 12 months a year.. . Fragrant aromas of summer stone fruits like apricot and peach explode from the glass. The palate is refreshing with mouth watering acidity. The finish is very long with the perfect touch of residual sugar. MUSCAT BLANC A PETITS GRAINS Wine Sparkling Wine Imported

This wine is from Italy, Piedmont region, Moscato D'asti sub-region. The history of the Vietti winery traces its roots back to the 19th Century. The estate, which has been in the Vietti family for four generations, is based in the village of Castiglione Falletto in Piedmont's Langhe region. In 1919 Mario Vietti transformed the family's farm into a grape growing and wine producing business, creating the first Vietti labeled wines. Alfredo Currado married Mario's daughter Luciana and made a name for Vietti's single-vineyard Barolo and Barbera. He also put the native Piedmont varietal Arneis on the wine map. In 1990 Alfredo and Luciana's son Luca joined the family business as winemaker after working at California’s Simi Winery, Opus One and Long Vineyards, and Bordeaux’s Mouton-Rothschild. His innovative winemaking utilizes a unique combination of modern and traditional practices. He eliminated equipment that measures acid and tannin levels in favor of a more intuitive approach. Vietti organically farms more than 25 single vineyards with vines up to 90 years of age.. Harvested from 35+ year old vines on the Vietti estate in Castiglione Tinella. Primary fermentation in stainless steel autoclave to preserve some natural CO2. Yeasts are added for a secondary fermentation in bottle.. Pale yellow in color and slightly “frizzante', this Moscato d’Asti has intense aromas of peaches, rose petals and ginger. On the palate it is delicately sweet with modest acidity, good balance and a finish of fresh apricots. MUSCAT BLANC A PETITS GRAINS Wine Italian Still Wine
