This wine is from Italy, Friuli-venezia Giulia region. Zuani is an estate owned by Patrizia Felluga and her son, Antonio. Her family is famous in the Collio district as the owners of the Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore wineries. Zuani has a 12 acre vineyard on a hillside where vines surround the cellar. The vineyard soil is marl and sandstone of mid-oceanic origin with superb aspect and position, on a medium to steep slope. The varieties planted are Friulano, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon. Zuani produces two wines - Zuani Vigne, fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and Zuani Zuani, from selected late harvested grapes and aged in barriques of French and American oak, with frequent lees stirring. These are terroir based wines that express the traditional qualities of Friuliano varieties with a more modern style.. A blend of Friulano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and PinotGrigio from vines between 15-30 years old. Each variety isvinified separately and then fermented and aged stainlesssteel. This wine is from Italy, Friuli-venezia Giulia region. The Bastianich winery, founded in 1997, strives to understand the history and culture of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and take it to a new level. Restaurateur Joseph Bastianich with his mother, the renowned chef Lidia Bastianich, bought a vineyard in Buttrio, a town in the Colli Orientali DOC. The family is very precise in their winemaking, controlling yields so that each individual vine produces one bottle of wine. They employ traditional manual methods in the vineyard and create wines that express the character of the land. NON-VARIETAL RED BLEND Wine Italian Still Wine

This wine is from Italy, Friuli-venezia Giulia region, Venezia Giulia sub-region. The Schiopetto family has been in the wine business for three generations. Mario Schiopetto founded this legendary estate in 1965, producing wines that would eventually inspire the entire wine industry. Since his death, his children Maria, Angela, Carlo and Giorgio have demonstrated their commitment to running the family winery. The Schiopetto family's 75 acres of vineyards cover the estate surrounding the former residence of the Bishop of Gorizia in Capriva del Friuli, and the Podere dei Blumeri in the Rosazzo hills that form part of the eastern hills of Friuli. Since the beginning Schiopetto has set a standard of unrelenting quality that covers vineyard practice as well as vinification. The vines are planted in a unique soil type known locally as Ponca, which lends tremendous crushed-mineral clarity to the wines. The heart of the winery is the yeast room, which plays a vital role in the company's philosophy and production process. This is where the various types of yeast required to trigger fermentation are grown. Cutting edge technology is used to eliminate the risk of error and carry out the art of winemaking. Schiopetto is one of Italy's foremost white wine producers. It was selected by Wine & Spirits Magazine as Top 100 Winery of the Year in 2006, 2007 and 2009. This wine is from Italy, Friuli-venezia Giulia region, Friuli Grave sub-region. The Di Lenardo family has cultivated vines in Friuli-Venezia Giulia since the early 1800’s. Quality took a leap forward in 1987, when the estate decided to press only the grapes grown in their vineyards. In 1998, winemaker Massimo di Lenardo personally took charge of the wine production. Emphasis was placed on using only hand-picked, estate grown fruit coupled with new plantings of specially selected varieties, increased density of vines and severe pruning. Refined methods of vinification, based on physiological ripeness and electronically controlled temperature during the fermentation, improved the quality of the wine. Whole berries are gently crushed in a pneumatic press. After a first racking, the must is transferred to temperature controlled fermentation vats and the wine stays on the lees before bottling. With the exception of Toh! and Sauvignon, all the wines see malolactic fermentation.. Di Lenardo is the only Friuli winery to produce a Chardonnay from the Musque clone. Hand-picked and whole berrycrushed.. A color of pale straw with greenish tints and a characteristic note of bitter almonds on the nose. Delicateand refined, soft and round with slightly reduced acidity. What stands out is the well made style and the prominentnotes of banana and pear. Wine Italian Still Wine
