This wine is from Spain. Bodegas Pintia is owned by Vega Sicilia. Pintia is located further west along the Duero River inside the warmer D.O. of Toro. The estate owns 96 hectares of land. The first vintage released was the 2001. As for the 2005 Pintia, it is 100% Tinta de Toro aged for one year in new French and American oak. Opaque purple-colored, it offers a complex perfume of pain grille, pencil lead, spice box, black cherry, and blackberry. This leads to a full-bodied, ripe, layered wine with intense flavors, serious complexity, and exceptional length. It has enough structure to unfold for another 4-6 years and drink well through 2025. Wine Advocate 95 Points Blend: 100% Tinta del Toro (Tempranillo) Area under vine: 96 hectares, half planted with mature vines, the other half planted since acquisition in 1997. Average vine age: 20-45 years (the immature vines are not used to make Pintia) Soil: Sandy stony topsoil, with some layers of red clay, upon deep gravel. No cases produced 2002: 8300 \ Wine SPANISH

This wine is from United States, California region, Napa County sub-region and Napa Valley appellation. Our Napa Valley collection of wines are crafted with the same approach to winemaking as our limited-production estate wines, resulting in wines of supple power and elegance. In fact, fruit from our estate vineyards makes a significant contribution to our Napa Valley Merlot. Then, to complement our estate fruit's distinctive qualities of flavor and structure, we turn to independent growers whose vineyards meet our rigorous farming standards.. Over 55% of this blend is composed of estate fruit. We get much of this fruit from our ARCADIA VINEYARD, which contributes structure as well as a core of red berry and plum characters with elements of spice. Then we layer in fruit from B.R.V., our estate vineyard in the Oak Knoll District, providing rounder, brighter fruit notes and a tobacco leaf character. To augment the supple character of the Merlot, we added a small but important percent of Cabernet Sauvignon to build weight and intensity. Fifteen months in French oak barrels brings all the elements together for an approachable, yet refined wine. MERLOT Wine California Still Wine

This wine is from United States, California region, Napa County sub-region and Stags Leap District appellation. The FAY vineyard is the land where the story of Stag's Leap Wine Cellars began back in 1969 when Warren Winiarski tasted Nathan Fay's 1968 homemade Cabernet. Warren knew, instantly, that he had found what he was searching for-classic elements of fruit and structure, suppleness and balance. It was a style that Warren refers to as “an iron fist in a velvet glove.' As luck would have it, an adjoining prune orchard was for sale. The Winiarski's purchased the land and planted a vineyard-now known as S.L.V. - and soon after, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars was born.. In 1986, Nathan offered to sell his vineyard to the Winiarski family. In his honor, the vineyard was named FAY. By the time we acquired the vineyard, many of the vines were nearly a quarter-century old and nearing the end of their best growing years. We embarked on an ambitious replanting program, experimenting with rootstocks, row orientation, and trellising to attain optimal expression of the terroir. Our replanting efforts are now fully realized and all vineyard blocks are in production. Vineyard blocks on the eastern slope, closest to the Palisades, contribute structural components derived from the volcanic soils there, while the more aromatic components come from the vineyard blocks on the western alluvial upland. When blended together, we achieve the classic expression of ”an iron fist in a velvet glove.” CABERNET SAUVIGNON Wine CALIFORNIA STILL WINE

This wine is from United States, California region, Napa County sub-region and Stags Leap District appellation. CASK 23, made only in exceptional vintages, is usually a blend of the most distinctive fruit from our S.L.V. and FAY estate vineyards. The story of CASK 23 began during the harvest of 1974. Back then, winery founder Warren Winiarski enlisted the help of celebrated winemakerAndre Tchelistcheff. As they tasted through various lots of new wines from that year, they noticed a distinct character in a lot from the center of Block 4, a character they described as “crushed violets'. It was so appealing that they decided to age this wine separately in a wooden cask, number 23. The wine was still so deliciously distinct after further aging in barrel, Warren decided to bottle it separately and give it a special name-CASK 23.. Much of S.L.V. has been replanted, but the vines in Block 4 from the original planting in 1972 still stand, and they continue to produce fruit of exquisite character. Over the years, we've identified other blocks and sub-blocks of our estate vineyards that consistently yield fruit ofexceptional quality, but the choice of which grapes go into CASK 23 is far from automatic. We pick and vinify in small lots, then carefully monitor each lot's development to determine which ones live up to their full potential. The fruit from S.L.V., with its volcanic soils, contribute complex structure, concentration, and spicy intensity, while the alluvial soils of FAY yield fruit with lush perfume and rich berry flavors. When blended together, the intense “fire'-like qualities of S.L.V. and the supple, “water'-likecharacteristics of FAY create a wine of classic elegance, structure, and age-ability. This wine is from United States, California region, Napa County sub-region and Napa Valley appellation. The name KARIA (kar'-ee-ah) is derived from a Greek word meaning graceful, and it is this very character that we seek most in this wine. With stylistic inspiration coming specifically from our ARCADIA VINEYARD Chardonnay, the wine is refreshing, light and graceful on the palate, with bright acidity supporting ripe fruit flavors and a butterfly kiss of oak.. We source the fruit for this wine in the cooler climate regions of the Napa Valley, with over 40% of the blend coming from our estate vineyards. ARCADIA VINEYARD, at the foot of Mt. George, provides a framework of invigorating acidity as well as beautiful floral notes. B.R.V., our vineyard in the Oak Knoll District, contributes sweet, juicy apple and pear characters. We complement the fruit from these vineyards with grapes from select vineyards in Carneros that enhance the blend with citrus notes and a minerality that region is known for. In the cellar, oak and malolactic fermentation are used with a light touch. It's a terroir-driven approach that is built on the belief that winemaking techniques should contribute accent notes and not make the dominant statement. CHARDONNAY Wine California Still Wine

This wine is from United States, California region, Napa County sub-region and Napa Valley appellation. For the Roman poet Virgil, ARCADIA was celebrated as a place of pastoral simplicity, where inhabitants lived in close harmony with nature. In southern Napa Valley, at the foot of Mt. George, a 128-acre parcel revealed itself in a similar way to the Winiarski family, who purchased the land in 1996 and named it ARCADIA VINEYARD. This vineyard produces Chardonnay similar to classic Burgundian Chablis. From the first release with the 1998 vintage, it has won accolades for its combination of alluring perfume, delicate fruit, vibrant minerality, and understated oak.. Located on a strand of gently rolling hills, ARCADIA VINEYARD is comprised of gravelly silt loam soils formed in part by an ancient inland lake. Cool to moderate temperatures prevail here in this vineyard just east of the town of Napa. The flinty, citrus-spiked fingerprint of this vineyard-designated Chardonnay originates from the vineyard’s climate and soil structure-which includes deposits from crushed shells. With such beautiful fruit coming from this vineyard, we show restraint in our winemaking practices-exercising minimal use of malolactic fermentation and aging the wine in older barrels that impart little to no oak character to the wine. In this way, we showcase the distinctiveness of this vineyard site. CHARDONNAY Wine California Still Wine

This wine is from Italy. Conternoas 2002 Barolo Riserva Monfortino is a legend in the making, or now that it is in bottle, it may be more correct to simply say it is a legend. The late Giovanni Conterno and his son Roberto Conterno created quite a stir when they announced that they would make their Monfortino in 2002, a year in which most of the harvest in Piedmont was severely compromised by a cold summer and devastating hail in early September. But there was more. The Conternos not only announced that they would make their Monfortino in 2002 but no Barolo Cascina Francia for the first time ever in the estateas history. In a bit of defiance towards the press, the Conternos then announced no one would be allowed to taste the wine from barrel. Over the years, this stance softened. Visitors lucky enough to visit the cellars and sample the wine from cask knew what was in store. Simply put, the 2002 Monfortino is stratospheric. A dark, imposing, but sensual wine, it flows from the glass with a breathtaking array of dried roses, autumn leaves, wild cherries, plums, new leather, espresso, licorice and spices, showing phenomenal depth, richness and balance. The tension between the luxuriousness of the fruit and the austerity of the vintage is truly captivating. I have tasted the 2002 Monfortino multiple times from barrel and bottle. At times it has reminded me of what I imagine the 1971 tasted like upon release, at other times it has seemed more similar to 1978. According to Giovanni Conterno, the 2002 reminded him of the 1971. Either way, the wine is extraordinary. The 2002 Monfortino is the result of the cold vintage that was typical of Piedmont up until the mid 1980s. In many ways, it is a throwback to wines that canat be made anymore in Piedmont. Roberto Conterno thought so highly of the 2002 Monfortino he gave the wine an extra year in barrrel. And of course, there is one sad footnote. The world lost Giovanni Conterno to cancer in 2004, but he made sure his last Monfortino was at least equal, if not better, than his most monumental wines. There is little doubt the 2002 Monfortino will soon take its place as one of the greatest Monfortinos ever made. It is the most fitting last chapter to the life of one of the worldas greatest winemakers. As always, I suggest readers who have an interest in Monfortino taste the wine as soon as possible, as it will soon head into a period of dormancy, which in this vintage may last several decades. One of my favorite vintages for current drinking is the 1970, which still looks to have another 30 years of fine drinking ahead of it! Anticipated maturity: 2027-2052. Few properties are so closely linked with a single site as Giacomo Conterno. Since 1978 the Cascina Francia vineyard in Serralunga, a monopole holding, has been the source of all of the estateas wines, including the Baroli Cascina Wine ITALIAN

This wine is from Italy, Tuscany region. A smoother, sexier, softer, satiny, succulent Super Tuscan does not exist than Hot Head. aSeparate vinification for every varietal with nearly whole grapes in open barriques, no pressing, and knowledgeable blending and ageing are a few of the secrets of the amazing Testamatta...having grown up around chisels and marble, the paint brushes and canvases of an artistic family, Bibi Graetz has transferred his creative instinct from his sculptures and paintings to grapes. His great insight was understanding the potential, still untapped, of the territory of Vincigliata in Fiesole, with lots of minerals on a clay and galestro foundation softened by sand. Separate vinification for every varietal left almost entirely uncrushed in open barriques, no pressing, and a wise blending and refinement are just some of the secrets of the amazing TestamattaaHowever, the series of wines made this year are so suberb that they cannot even be compared with the best offerings of recent years, which had already raised such clamor.a - Daniel Thomases 100% Sangiovese. 37 hectares of vineyards located throughout the territory of Fiesole, surrounded by woods and centuries-old olive orchards, on soils rich with clay and schist, give fruit to unique enological results, with wines characterized by complex perfumes and elegant tannins. Convinced of the importance of using old vines since 2000, the year of their first vintage, Bibi Graetz has been dedicated to the constant search for vines older than 50 years. The vines producing the fruit for Testamatta are between 30-65 years of age. The vineyards are south-facing at an altitude of 250 meters. Each vine produces only around a pound/500 grams of grape. Fermentation takes place in open top barriques of 225 liters with 6-8 manual punch-downs per day. The wine is aged in French barriques for 18 months followed by 6 months in the bottle. Wild berries, warm leather, and jasmine notes on the nose, with subtle notes of vanilla and dark chocolate. The palate is deep and powerful with blackberry nuances and a long intense finish. 1,200 cases produced Wine TUSCANY

This wine is from France, Burgundy region, Cote De Nuits sub-region and Nuits St Georges appellation. In 2006, Pascal Marchand, who had forged an international reputation as a brilliant winemaker over more than two decades, launched a new Burgundian micro-negociant business under his own name. A native of Montreal and an adventurer at heart, Pascal began his career in wine working the harvest at Chateau de Chorey-les-Beaune in Burgundy in 1983. He returned the following year and quickly established himself as one of the region's rising stars after being hired by the Domaine du Comte Armand in Pommard. Little known before then, the Domaine and its Premier Cru monopole vineyard Clos des Epeneaux quickly gained renown and Pascal's wines became recognized by prominent journalists and aficionados as reference points for Pinot Noir's modern style. After 15 years at Comte Armand, he took on a new challenge in 1999, working with the Boisset family to launch their showcase estate, the Domaine de la Vougeraie - one of the most ambitious projects the region had seen since World War II. The association with the Boissets also led Pascal to further expand his horizons, consulting on their projects in Beaujolais, Minervois, California, Canada and South America. Since leaving the Boisset group in 2006, Pascal has established himself independently as a winemaker and consultant - in Burgundy at Domaine Jean Fery et Fils; in Sonoma, California at Joseph Phelps' Freestone Winery; in Niagra, Canada at Tawse Winery; in Australia at Carlei in South Yarra and Heathcote, Prancing Horse in Mornington Peninsula, Turner's Crossing in Bendigo, and with his own brand Marchand & Burch, which he founded with his friend Jeff Burch in Western Australia. Finally, he continues to work with VC Family Estate in Chile and Argentina, whose collection of brands includes Veranda, a brand Pascal had launched with Boisset in 2002. Today, Pascal's personal passion and commitment to working with Burgundy's most distinctive terroirs is realized through his new negociant business, which has grown to encompass 36 appellations of the Cotes de Nuits and a few, mainly for white wines, from the Cotes de Beaune. The production, which has reached 6,000 cases, is now being marketed under a new label: Marchand & Tawse, since Pascal formed a partnership with long-time friend and business associate Moray Tawse. The fruit for these wines is sourced from growers Pascal knows and trusts, and vineyards with a minimum of 35 years of age. All are perfectly maintained. Many are farmed organically, which is not surprising since Pascal has been a leader in the use of organic and biodynamic methods through the years. All of his operations are carried out according to the lunar calendar. The wines are vinified and matured in cellars in the heart of Nuits-St.-Georges, using barrels selected from two specialized artisanal coopers. The wood is selected from the best plots in the forests of Alliers, Cher, Compeigne, Fontainbleau, Jupille and Oise. The staves are seasoned for 4-5 years and the barrels are toasted very lightly and slowly. The wines speak directly of their origins and of the sensitivity Pascal has cultivated throughout his remarkable career. PINOT NOIR Wine French Still Wine

This wine is from United States, California region, Sonoma County sub-region and Russian River Valley appellation. Created as a sister label in 2001, Migration is the newest expression of Goldeneye’s commitment to Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. With a name chosen to represent change and movement, Migration offers winemaker Zach Rasmuson greater creativity and flexibility as he blends his distinctive Anderson Valley wines.Located in the heart of Mendocino County, Anderson Valley traces a northwest path from the redwoods to the Pacific. The region’s proximity to the coast creates a climate distinguished by low-lying ocean fog that evolves into long, mildly cool days perfect for the cultivation of Pinot Noir.Using fruit from five estate vineyard properties and grapes selected from other top vineyards in the Anderson Valley appellation, Migration has developed its own distinctive fresh, ripe flavor. Crafted as a lighter alternative to the rich, structured wines of Goldeneye, Migration benefits from the same attention to detail in the vineyard and winemaking.Choosing between 22 different clonal varieties of Pinot Noir from 23 separate vineyard blocks, the wine enjoys a level of quality in grape selection rivaled by few Pinot Noirs in its class. With each block individually harvested, vinified and barrel-aged, Zach draws from a wide canvas of flavors for his final blend. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels, Migration is a second label wine that stands on its own.Migration’s label features the artwork of renowned wildlife artist David Maass. The original painting depicting a flock of Goldeneye ducks migrating along the Pacific Coast is part of the waterfowl art collection on display at the Goldeneye winery. Deviation wine, incorporating new ingredients from the plant kingdom, delivers higher levels of sensory pleasure than can be done with grapes alone. Its name refers not only to a deviation from winemaking practice but also to the history of specialty winemaking at Quady and as homage to change. Mysteriously attractive aromatics, sweet but with a surprisingly dry finish, and ethno botanical significance (of its non grape botanicals) make Deviation a wine for romance. Living up to its name, it is different in composition, in sensory impact, and in its power to induce emotion and feeling from other wines.DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL:Tasters Guild Wine LoversGOLD MEDAL:Orange County FairPacific Rim Intl Wine CompSan Diego National Wine CompSilver Medal:Amenti del VinoDallas Morning News Intl Wine CompLos Angeles Intl Wine CompNational Womens Wine CompSan Francisco Fair IntlVino Challenge IntlSpecial Award:Beverage Testing Institute- 93ptsDecanter Magazine- May 2007- Best Fortified Wine Wine MISC. The wine is aged foranother eight months before release from our cellars.Tasting NotesOur J Brut Rose sparkles with a luminous cool pink hue and exudesdelicate aromas of strawberry, nectarine and juicy red apples. On thepalate, the wine opens with flavors of cherry, blood orange, citruspeel and tropical fruit. The wine engages the entire palate, and iswrapped in a refined body of elegance and effervescence, endingwith a lively and lingering finish. The bright, delightfully fresh acidityof our Brut Rose makes this an excellent companion with a varietyof cuisines. We recommend pairing it with a pan-seared salmon thathas been rubbed with a dash of olive oil. This wine is from France, Champagne region. Nose of ginger, raspberries, black-berries, pepper, nuts and stone fruits. Lots of pepper and raspberry on the palate with chalk, peaches and more pepper and raspberry on the finish. This single-vineyard Champagne is made up of 100% Pinot Noir, from 60 year-old vines in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay. With this wine, Francis Egly is trying to resuscitate the true taste of the Montagne de Reims region. This is the way it tasted 50 years ago, when before it was customary to mix in 25-40% Chardonnay. He intends this to be an expression of the vineyards super-chalky soil, which is a sort of amplified version of Champagnes usual soil composition: 10-11 inches of real soil on the surface, and then solid chalk beneath.Explosive aromas meld into a ripe core of perfumed Pinot fruit as the NV Brut Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru Les Crayeres opens up in the glass. This is another big, full-bodied wine endowed with dense, super-ripe red fruit, mint, spices and licorice. Despite the wine's size there is also tons of clarity and focus. The mousse remains rather fine and elegant, providing a lovely counterpoint to the wine's otherwise extroverted personality. The Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru is Pinot Noir from the Les Crayeres lieu-dit in Ambonnay that spent 48 months on its lees and was disgorged in July, 2008. This wine is from United States, California region. Floral bouquet nose with a dominance of honeysuckle. Muscat is the defining/alluring factor in the aroma of this wine. Enters round with a Chardonnay weight to it then quickly lightens up to reveal the additional varietals. Sauvignon Blanc adds an herbal element while the Viognier adds a spicy character. The Chardonnay brings weight mid palate and Muscat adds an undeniable honey character to finish things off.Conundrum is a true California wine, with grapes sourced from Napa, Monterey, Santa Barbara and Tulare counties. They often hear the phrase 'exotic' when described. It's a fitting portrayal; there is no other wine quite like it.Each lot of wine is treated separately to respect its unique flavor profile. This approach starts in our vineyards and continues in the cellar. They keep some lots in cool-temperature stainless steel to maintain fresh, crisp aromas and fruit flavors; and age some lots in a combination of French barrels. When the time comes to blend the lots, they have not just five lots representing the five varietals, but sixty or more components. That's when the creative juices begin to flow. The proportions vary slightly in each vintage, as Mother Nature hands us new ingredients. But their goal is always the same: a wine whose complexity is appealing to both red and white wine drinkers-a highly styled wine that is excellent as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with a wide range of cuisines. To fully enjoy its aromas and flavors, the wine is best served slightly chilled. NON-VARIETAL WHITE BLEND Wine CALIFORNIA STILL WINE

Separate vinification for every varietal left almost entirely uncrushed in open barriques, no pressing, and a wise blending and refinement are just some of the secrets of the amazing TestamattaaHowever, the series of wines made this year are so suberb that they cannot even be compared with the best offerings of recent years, which had already raised such clamor.a - Daniel Thomases With the 2005 vintage, the wine is now 100% Sangiovese fermented in open oak barrels and aged in new oak barriques for 18 months, followed by 6 months in bottle. The 2005 vintage has a structure for long aging potential and is polished but unmistakably Tuscan. The harvest, usually beginning around mid-September, is the moment which most clearly highlights the detailed cure which goes into every detail of this wine. Precise harvest time is determined with accuracy, to ensure that the grapes can give the maximum expression of their characteristics in the cellar. This wine is from France, Rhone region. The 2009 is showing better out of bottle than it was last year. Gorgeous kirsch liqueur notes, raspberry jam, forest floor, spice box, new saddle leather and a peppery spiciness are all present in this deep, voluptuously textured, open-knit Clos des Papes, which is atypically forward, luscious and approachable already. These wines often need a good 5-10 years of cellaring in the more structured vintages, but the 2009 is gorgeous from the get-go. This full-bodied, deep, concentrated wine has a deep purple color and should drink well for 20-25 years without ever really closing down. Readers may want to think of this as a slightly more concentrated version of the 2003, which is one of the great stars of that vintage. This is one of the great estates in Chateauneuf du Pape, with a history that dates back to the mid-1700s. I believe the Avril family first estate-bottled wine in 1896. Clos des Papes, with its 90+ acres of vines spread among 24 separate parcels in the appellation, is one of the traditional hallmarks of classic, long-lived Chateauneuf du Pape. Everything is aged in old wood foudres, no old vine or luxury cuvee is produced, and the red wine is a classic blend of 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 20% Syrah, and the rest Vaccarese, Counoise, and Muscardin. It is generally not fined or filtered after aging 15 months in these old wood foudres. The white wine is an equal-part blend of Grenache blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, Picpoul, Bourboulenc, and one could argue that it might possibly be the longest-lived dry white of the appellation. Tasting here is always a treat, but it takes a while to work through all the different lots and then look at the potential assembled version of the 2010. I was consistently rating each foudre between a low of 92 or 93 to a high of mid- to upper-90s. That is as impressive as 2010 is. Avril told me that the average alcohol in 2010 was high on all the different lots, which is in keeping with recent vintages. (The 2003 was 15.6%, and the 2007 was 15.7%, while the final assembled version of the 2010 is 15.9% and the 2009 is 15.6%.) The 2010, paradoxically, has relatively high acidity compared to other top vintages. Since I had a few extra moments, Vincent opened a 1998 Chateauneuf du Pape blanc, which I rated 93. I thought it was still very fresh and lively. Of course, he ended our tasting with one of the all-time classics of Chateauneuf du Pape and of Clos des Papes, the 1990, which is close to perfection. This wine is from Australia, South Australia region, Barossa sub-region and Barossa Valley appellation. Torbreck Vintners was founded by David Powell in 1994. Dave was working at Barossa’s Rockford Winery when he began dreaming of his own wine label, dedicated to making wine from some of the valley’s oldest vines He helped a few area growers nurture some neglected, decades old Shiraz and Grenache vines back to health. Nearly lifeless and overgrown he was rewarded with a few small parcels of dry grown fruit, which he turned into wine. Contracts were then negotiated for the use of these vineyards with the individual growers, and so the old practice of share farming returned to the Valley. This secured for Torbreck a regular supply of the best Barossa Shiraz, Grenache, and Mataro (Mourvedre) vineyards containing some of the oldest vines in the world, between 120 to 160 years old. His Torbreck label, named after a forest in Scotland, where he worked as a lumberjack, debuted in 1997 with the release of a small 1995 vintage. Yields are invariably low, and the resulting wines are deeply impressive. Torbreck wines, like the Cornas, Condrieu, and Hermitage that Powell holds up as inspiration, are muscular but not beefy, pleasurable even as they lean towards profound. The wines have been praised effusively since the beginning by the world's leading wine critics and journalists and are represented on the wine lists of the world's best restaurants. In 2008 the completion of a state of the art, eco-friendly winery, packaging and administration building has meant the realization of David's goal to have all Torbreck wines produced and bottled on the estate. Torbreck remains a Barossa Valley benchmark as well as one of the world's leading wine estates. SYRAH Wine Australian Still Wine

This wine is from Australia. R Wines is a new company founded by importer and marketing genius, Dan Philips, along with co-owner, renowned winemaker, Chris Ringland. Winemakers for R Wines are Chris Ringland, Lisa Wetherell, Andrew Hercock, and John Hughes. It encompasses four familiar labels, Marquis Philips, 3 Rings, Roogle, and Bitch, along with 13 others created especially for R Wines. Needless to say, the packaging of these wines is amazingly creative but, more importantly, what is in the bottle consistently over-delivers from low-end to high-end. The R series features Cabernet Sauvignon from the Barossa and a Rose of Cabernet Sauvignon from McLaren Vale. The labels portray different takes on the letter “R'. Consumers owe it to themselves to read the witty back labels. The Marquis Philips wines have established a six year track record of delivering a big bang for the buck. The wines are now made by a team put together by Dan Philips and Chris Ringland with absolutely no change in quality. Starting with the 2006 vintage, however, all of the fruit is sourced from McLaren Vale. The other change of note is that Merlot has been dropped from the program, primarily because of the difficulty of finding Merlot good enough to merit the M-P label..

This wine is from United States, California region. This is the best white wine that I have had in a long time.It is so rich and full of flavor that all I could think of is the spicy hot sea food platter with clams, mussels, scallops and shrimpthat it pairs with so well. Its a little pricey but once you try it you will say, as I did, it is well worth it!The 2006 Bride Proprietary White Wine is enticing. Abundant aromas of lychee nuts, rose petals, honeysuckle, and orange marmalade are offered in the complex aromatics. Fruity and juicy with low acidity and a fleshy, full-bodied mouthfeel, it is an enticing white to drink over the next year. 92 RP2006 Black Barts Bride White Blend 49% Marsanne, 38% Viognier, 13% Chardonnay Winemaker notes: Pale straw gold; Aromas of white peaches, dried apricots, almonds, and fresh tangerines, transition smoothly into ripe gooseberries, honeycomb and lemon peel and distinctive minerality; Complex, yet soft tannins and a full mid-palate lead into a seductive finish that stretches on.Enjoy with seared ahi, quail, scallops, and of course the list goes on! Also pairs well with spicy dishes. Wine MERITAGE BLENDS
