This wine is from Italy, Tuscany region, Bolgheri And Bolgheri Sassicai sub-region. The 2007 Sassicaia (Cabernet Sauvignon) explodes onto the palate with masses of rich, opulent fruit that caress the palate with gorgeous length and a seamless beauty that is hard to fully capture. Dark wild cherries, plums, spices, minerals and herbs develop in the glass. This is an especially bold, perhaps slightly uncharacteristic Sassicaia in its extroverted personality, but it is beautiful all the same. The inner perfume and sweetness carries through the long finish, where the sheer weight and glycerol of the fruit leaves a lasting impression. The 2007 is more than a worthy follow-up to the profound 2006. While it may lack that wineas freshness, structure and potential longevity, the 2007 is immensely appealing today, and should drink beautifully pretty much out of the gate. That said, Sassicaia is always the most restrained of Bolgherias heavy hitters. This is a superb effort from Tenuta San Guido. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2037. BORDEAUX BLEND Wine ITALIAN STILL WINE

Named after a crossroad (crosara in local dialect) that separates two vineyards from which Merlot grapes are sourced, Crosara is another successful result of Fausto Maculan's talent for crafting unmistakably Italian reds from Bordeaux's varietals. Extremely rich and deep purple in color, Crosara offers intense aromas of spice, coffee, chocolate and ripe black and red berries. In mouth, supple taste of ripe berries is followed by chewy, sweet and well-balanced tannins framing a juicy and lingering finish. An austere and elegant wine, recommended with rich pasta dishes, barbecued meats, game, and medium-aged cheese. Wine Spectator rating: 93.

This wine is from Italy. Has focused aromas of raspberry and blackberry, with vanilla undertones. Full-bodied, chewy and powerful. Bery structured and a little hard, but will come around nicely. Best after 2010.-Spectator(Oct 2007)RATED 91 PTS BY SPECTATORLight-medium ruby. Nuanced nose of red cherry, red rose, tar and orange peel has a nice mineral underpinning. This poster boy for nebbiolo aromatics behaves in much the same way in the mouth, showing red cherry and tar flavors complicated by mint and camphor. A very well made wine that is at once dense, sweet and full of energy, this would merit an outstanding score if it wasnt for slightly astringent tannins.-Tanzer (Oct 2007)RATED 89 PTS BY TANZERThe 2003 Barolo Conca is the most complex as well as complete wine in this line-up. It is an inviting Barolo that provides beautiful balance, with well-defined aromatics and layers of dark fruit, menthol and spices. This full-bodied, generous wine captures the best qualities of the vintage in plenty of style. It will be even better in another year or two once the tannins have settled down a bit. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2015. My impression is that Mauro Molino is an estate still in search of a well-defined, consistent house style. In recent years the wines have gained in richness and complexity. The oak that dominated the wines' balance in the past has been cut back. It is still too soon to know if these developments signify a long-term commitment to a higher level of quality, but for now Molino certainly seems to be moving in the right direction.- Wine Advocate Robert Parker(Oct 2007)RATED 91 PTS BY WINE ADVOCATE Wine ITALIAN

It opens up with brambly notes of berries and currants, cloves, lavender, violets and a hint of bittersweet chocolate. This wine is from Italy, Piedmont region, Brachetto D'acqui sub-region. Rosa Regale is a unique red sparkling wine. Aromatic with a hint of rose petals and raspberries, Rosa Regale is delightfully vivacious and festive. While it is appreciated as one of the few wines in the world that truly marries well with chocolate, especially dark or bittersweet, its charms extend across a palette of occasions and food pairings, from savory to sweet. On its own Rosa Regale is an elegant aperitif. Its fruity character beguiles the heat of spicy Asian and Latino fare, and its gentle acidity is an ideal foil to the piquant richness of goat cheese, especially in a spring mix salad with almonds and cranberries. Quiches, glazed hams, beets, vichyssoise, gazpacho, chowders and even the myriad of flavors at Thanksgiving dinner, all traditionally challenging wine matches, are enchanted by Rosa Regale. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, trifles and hazelnut tortes are all elevated by this frothy wine. Sparkling BRACHETTO Wine SPARKLING WINE IMPORTED
