Add the glitter of diamonds to your most fashionable evening wear with this Omega Quadra stainless steel women's watch--part of the Cindy Crawford My Choice collection. The square bezel is fully surrounded by a frame of tiny rough-cut diamonds, including two diamonds placed between each of the two claw accents. The silver stainless steel watch case is completed with a highly polished rhodium finish, accentuating this timepiece's platinum-like sheen. It offers an appealing balance of luxury, durability, and precision with its Swiss quartz watch movement. It also features a chronograph function, which has a 12-hour, 30 minute and 1/10 second subdials. The silver dial background is accented by red Arabic numerals at 4, 8, and 12 o'clock. It's completed by a supple, deep red genuine crocodile leather strap with classic cracked texturing. Other features include a scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed sapphire crystal and water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet). The Omega Story The Omega watch story begins in 1848, when founder Louis Brandt began hand assembling key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen in his principality La Chaux-de-Fonds, in the northwest corner of Switzerland. However, the Omega name didn't appear until 1894, after Louis Brandt had passed away and his watchmaking traditions were taken over by his sons, Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt. Omega watches have long been associated with glamorous screen and sports stars--the Omega Seamaster is famous for being the watch of choice for James Bond--with current ambassadors including Pierce Brosnan, Nicole Kidman, tennis player Anna Kournikova, and swimmers Michael Phelps and Ian Thorpe. But Omega is more than just a fashionable watch. In 1965, the Omega Speedmaster chronograph was "flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions" as the only wristwatch to have withstood all of the U.S. space agency's severe tests, including passing grades for extreme shocks, vibrations, and temperatures ranging from -18 to +93 degrees Celsius. The greatest moment in the Speedmaster's history was undoubtedly 20 July 1969 at 02:56 GMT, when it recorded man's first steps on the Moon's surface as part of the Apollo 11 mission. Today, Omega is known for its rigorous testing of new movements, cases, and bands. Each new Omega movement is tested on the wrist in existing Omega models, while various laboratory tests are conducted to determine temperature-resistance, shock-resistance and vibration-resistance.

Blending refined European design with glittery diamond-accented style, this Omega Constellation women's watch offers graceful lines and a medium-sized width. Mixing both stainless steel and 18 karat gold, this Constellation offers an appealing balance of luxury, durability, and precision (with its Swiss quartz watch movement). And this watch will capture attention immediately as you walk into the ballroom (or boardroom) with its tiny diamond dial markers and shiny, fully diamond encrusted 18 karat gold bezel. The silver stainless steel bracelet band flows seamlessly from the case and is slightly tapered. It's accented by thin horizontal bands of 18 karat gold that separate the silver links and stretch fully across the width of the band. It's joined by a secure fold over clasp with push button. The shimmery white mother-of-pearl white dial background also includes gold-tone Dauphine hands (with seconds hand). Other features include a scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed sapphire crystal, a distinctive Cabochon crown, and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet) The watch case measures 25.5mm (1 inch) across and 8mm (0.31 inches) deep. Mother-of-pearl is the pearlescent material found on the inside of mollusk shells like abalone, oysters, and mussels, which can be scraped off, sliced thin, and applied to all manner of jewelry. Offering a contemporary flavor, this Omega Speedmaster automatic chronograph for men will help you keep track of your road training thanks to its tachymeter bezel. The silver dial face includes three black chrono subdials as well as polished silver triangular hour markers, luminous baton hands, and a large date window at 3 o'clock. It's matched to a triple-link stainless steel bracelet that mixes brushed and polished finishes. Other features include a 44-hour power reserve, a scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet)--offering protection from accidental splashes as well suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and light recreational diving. This watch also features the Omega 1164 caliber automatic movement, which has been certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Control). Only 3 percent of watches produced in Switzerland are "chronometer-certified." To achieve this highly coveted certification, the movements are subjected to numerous tests over a period of 15 consecutive days and nights, in five positions and at three different temperatures. How to Use a Tachymeter A tachymeter is an instrument for measuring speed. It is a chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read off in kilometers per hour based on 1000 meters distance. For example, the chronograph indicates that the distance of one kilometer has been covered in 30 seconds. The corresponding point on the tachymeter scale indicates 120, and thus the speed is 120km per hour.
