Inspired by the Great Bed of Ware, a circa 1590 antique now in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, this miniature replicates even the unique, "birdcage" footposts. The fitted foam mattress and pair of pillows are covered in a soft peach damask-patterned fabric. The underside of the tester top panel is coffered for a nice, unseen detail. Dark walnut frame.
