One of the latest B-25 models is from Airfield RC and sold by Nitroplanes in the U.S. It is a faithful sport-scale reproduction of the B-25, including the mild "gull" wing design that is overlooked by many examples.     The B-25 depicted by Airfield RC replicates the B-25D named Tondelayo, after famous screen actress Hedy Lamarr in her starring role of the 1942 film, "White Cargo." This particular 500th BS, 345th BG (known as the Air Apaches) bomber was one of three aircraft known for its remarkable mission conducted on October 18, 1943, against a 6,000 ton cargo ship near Rabaul. Tondelayo and its wingmen successfully attacked the ship, but the flight was jumped by some 50 enemy fighters while trying to return to base. In a period of 75 minutes and while skimming the ocean surface to prevent a belly attack by the fighters, Tondelayo's top turret gunner shot down five fighters, and another four splashed into the ocean trying to make their attack on the bomber. The plane barely made it back, flying on one engine and losing both of its wingmen in the process. It required some six months of repair to return Tondelayo to service, but by then, the plane was national symbol of heroism.     Our review aircraft features a lot for the sport-scale modeler. The construction is basically an all-foam airframe using EPO plastic foam. The texture is tight and devoid of the typical "beady" look with holes and cracks. Along with the basic flight controls, the B-25 also has a very good set of electric retracts with sequencing gear doors. And if that's not enough, it has lighting on the wing's leading edge! What I also though was very nice to include was not only pilot figures in the cockpit but also most of the crew members in the gun positions.     It's a large model with removable wings, which makes it convenient to place into a small car. Power is provided by twin brushless motors that run in counter-rotating directions to offset any torque effects when applying power. Our review aircraft is the RTF Version, which includes all servos, ESCs, retracts sequencer circuit, lights, receiver and transmitter on 2.4GHz. Su-27 Flanker is designed for the hobby enthusiast. Based on its full-scale counterpart, this Russian jet flight model has a high roll rate and even can do the famous "cobra maneuver" flight. Even a beginner can easily setup and stably fly this model. It is also made as a highly maneuverable model for intermediate to expert pilot. This model includes a radio transmitter, a speed controller, two electric brushless ducted fans, and 5 electric servos. You will definitely enjoy flying this model.   What the Pro says! The Art-Tech Su27 Twin 64mm is an Incredibly complete package.  Includes five minute epoxy, a screwdriver...EVERYTHING.  Only 8AA batteries are needed to complete it. Construction takes about thirty minutes, and the instructions are excellent and complete.  Quality of construction is very good, no problems at all. The decorations and paint job are exceptional, the plane is VERY colorful and attractive. In the air...takeoffs require about 75 feet.  I don't think it will get off grass, I would not even try it.  It needs a smooth surface like pavement.  I don't think hand launching it over grass without the landing gear would be a problem, but the bottom intakes are a little fragile, I worry about damaging them on landing.  The plane was designed to fly from a runway, so that's where mine is staying. Power is decent.  In spite of some dumb posts on some interenet sites, it's not a dog at all, it flies just fine on the provided power system.  Top speed is maybe 55mph, pretty typical for a ready to fly foamie jet.  No speed demon, but just fine.  It will loop easily from level flight.  The roll rate is tremendous, you might want to tone it down.  Landings are very, very easy.  All around, it's a very easy plane to fly, a good first jet. The electronics included have all been fine, including the stock battery, the charger included is great, the receiver is a dual conversion FM type, the transmitter is decent quality. Good value for the money, a very nice flyer, looks great in the air.  I am very pleased.   I also saw that some people said that the videos posted online of this plane must have been doctored, that that could not have been a stock power system in the video, etc... Baloney.  Mine flies just like that.  It flies very well.  Don't beleive all the "experts" who post on the internet and say you have to modify this or that...the plane is very well thought out and flies just fine right out of the box. You can upgrade it with more power if you like, no problem, but let nobody say the designers did not do their homework, or that the plane cannot fly, as somebody put a lot of time into this model, and it flies very well, and it looks really great in the air, and it's very easy to fly. One of the latest B-25 models is from Airfield RC and sold by Nitroplanes in the U.S. It is a faithful sport-scale reproduction of the B-25, including the mild "gull" wing design that is overlooked by many examples.     The B-25 depicted by Airfield RC replicates the B-25D named Tondelayo, after famous screen actress Hedy Lamarr in her starring role of the 1942 film, "White Cargo." This particular 500th BS, 345th BG (known as the Air Apaches) bomber was one of three aircraft known for its remarkable mission conducted on October 18, 1943, against a 6,000 ton cargo ship near Rabaul. Tondelayo and its wingmen successfully attacked the ship, but the flight was jumped by some 50 enemy fighters while trying to return to base. In a period of 75 minutes and while skimming the ocean surface to prevent a belly attack by the fighters, Tondelayo's top turret gunner shot down five fighters, and another four splashed into the ocean trying to make their attack on the bomber. The F19 is a designation for a United States fighter aircraft that has never been officially used, and has engendered much speculation that it might refer to a type of aircraft whose existence is still classified.
