This is the Santa Claus figurine designed by Painter of Light Thomas Kinkade that recites 'Twas the Night Before Christmas in the artist's own voice. The scene is sculpted from polyresin and handpainted in meticulous detail, including the flowing script on the spine of the book in Santa's hand, the wrinkles on his forehead, and the presents at his feet. His coat and hat are made from dyed fabric and trimmed in faux fur. Behind Santa, a miniaturized painting can be illuminated by its gallery lamp that turns on at the flip of a switch in the display's base. The Christmas tree has built-in fiber-optic lights nestled among the multi-colored ornaments and rich, green foliage that give off a twinkling ideally suited for the dimensions of the scene.
