This is a ready to assemble 1/10 scale electric powered Radio/Control model kit of the Ford F350 High-Lift 4X4 pickup truck. This 1/10 scale assembly model kit comes with all the electrical and mechanical components necessary to construct a high performance R/C car model, with the exception of the following: 4-CHANNEL, 2-SERVO digital proportional R/C unit. Electronic Speed Controller [ESC] (use high power type ESC with reverse function [maximum continuous current: forward 120A, reverse 60A, FET regulation]). Sevro [x2] (high torque servo is recommended when running on rough terrain). Battery (Tamiya 7.2V running battery [ITEM TA201] & Eight R6/AA/UM3 batteries for transmitter) 'ALL SOLD SEPARATELY' **THIS IS NOT A READY-TO-RUN RADIO/CONTROL TOY; ADVANCED MODELING SKILLS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO SUCCESSFULLY CONSTRUCT THIS MODEL KIT** Model kit features: Electric R/C assembly kit of one of the most representative American pick-up trucks, the Ford F-350. The model features realistic ladder frame, 3-speed transmission and shaft drive 4WD system. Highly detailed injection molded body and large diameter wheels enhance the stylish high-ground-clearance look. Original marking stickers add to the truck's overall realism. **NOTES FROM AARON'S WORKSHOP: We put together this Ford F350 RC kit first straight out of the box then retrofitted the vehicle with Tamiya Multi-function Unit MFC-02 without too much difficulty. To install MFC-02 components, partial disassembly of rear-chassis was necessary. Tamiya recommends the Futaba T4VWD Radio, but this radio has been discontinued by Futaba, so we used the Futaba 4YF FHSS with 2 high torque servos, and it worked great. Futaba T4GWD radio (w/ click-touch trim) will work fine if you do not plan to install the MFC-02 unit with this kit; 4 channel radio is required because this kit features gear-shifting (3 gears). With the MFC-02 unit, you do not need the ESC unit, as it is already included. Enjoy!**

Jim Ford was Sly Stone's best friend and Nick Lowe's biggest musical influence. Aretha Franklin, Bobby Womack and The Temptations have all recorded his songs. But after just one mythical album, 'Harlan County,' in 1969, he disappeared. Many tried to find Jim Ford without any success, until Swedish music journalist and devoted fan L-P Anderson found him living in a northern California trailer park 2006. Jim Ford's modest residence contained a mountain of old master tapes and demos. Anderson befriended Ford and heard a story that even Hollywood scriptwriters would have said was too impossible to be true. Before leaving California, Anderson promised he'd get some of the tapes out on record. A compilation, 'The Sounds Of Our Time,' appeared on Bear Family Records in 2007 and became a big success. The CD spent four weeks in the Swedish charts and received worldwide critical acclaim. Jim was overwhelmed with the positive response. Unfortunately, he passed away in November 2007 aged 66, just before the launch of Bear Family's second Jim Ford compilation, 'Point Of No Return'. Jim Ford left us with some extraordinarily good music. This self titled album was originally meant to be released by Capitol Records in October 1970, but Ford fell out with the company s executives before the project was manufactured. Apparently, he got $20,000 and the master tapes. He also got strict orders never to show his face inside the Capitol building again. And now for the first time, here's Jim Ford's second album, the follow up to 'Harlan County'. It's never too late to enjoy the best in country soul music. Track Listing: The Sound

In his "Lives of the Artists", Vasari wrote: "While we may term other works paintings, those of Raphael are living things, the flesh palpitates, the breath comes and goes, every organ lives, life pulsates everywhere." In this extensively illustrated book featuring some 300 illustrations, the author takes a critical look at the life and work of Rafaello Sanzio, or as he signed certain paintings, Raphael Urbinas, in homage to his native city of Urbino. Described as "an artist touched by grace," he is considered, along with Michelangelo and Leonardo, to be one of the greatest painters of the Italian Renaissance. Raphael (1483-1520), whose birth and death were on a Good Friday, belonged to a family of merchants; aside from his training in the studio of Perugino, little is known about his earliest years. He arrived in Florence in 1504, where he studied the masters and produced magnificent paintings of the Madonna, as well as remarkable portraits. In 1508 he went to Rome, where he died a dozen years later at the height of his powers, after creating monumental works at the Vatican. De Vecchi re-examines the scholarship surrounding each of the major periods of Raphael's short career, dispelling the myths about him that have accumulated over the centuries. He reminds us that the most "profound" element of Raphael's art was his striving to express the dialectic between earthly and heavenly love, an important concern of his contemporaries. The coverage of the text extends beyond the paintings to Raphael's significant work as an architect and designer of interiors.

The cattle trail from Texas to Kansas was long, hot and dangerous. And by the time cowboys got there, they had the money and means to make a boomtown explode--and make Dodge City a great place to be a defense attorney…as long as you weren't looking for an innocent man.Harry Gryden believes in the kind of justice that only happens in a courtroom. In Dodge, it's his job to make sure that the accused get their fair trial. But Harry is a little too good at what he does. And with the Masterson brothers, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday laying down their own brand of law, being a courtroom legend is turning Harry into the rarest of Dodge City men: one who doesn't carry a gun, but is in a fight for his life…

When he was born, Michelangelo Buonarroti was put into the care of a stonecutter's family. He often said it was from them that he got his love of sculpture. It certainly didn't come from his own father, a respectable magistrate who beat his son when he asked to become an artists apprentice. But Michelangelo persevered. His early sculptures caught the attention of Florence's great ruler, Lorenzo de' Medici, who invited the boy to be educated with his own sons. Soon after, Michelangelo was astonishing people with the lifelike creations he wrested from marble--from the heartbreaking Pieta he sculpted when he was only twenty-five to the majestic David that brought him acclaim as the greatest sculptor in Italy.Michelangelo had a turbulent, quarrelsome life. He was obsessed with perfection and felt that everyone--from family members to his demanding patrons--took advantage and let him down. His long and difficult association with Pope Julius II yielded his greatest masterpiece, the radiant paintings in the Sistine Chapel, and his most disastrous undertaking, the monumental tomb that caused the artist frustration and heartache for forty years. With her thoroughly researched, lively narrative and superbly detailed illustrations, Diane Stanley has captured the life of an artist who towered above the late Renaissance--and whose brilliance in architecture, painting, and sculpture amazes and moves us to this day.Children's Books 2000-NY Public Lib., Books for Youth Editor's Choice 2000 (Booklist), Lasting Connections 2000 (Book Links), Best Books 2000 (School Library Journal), Top 10 Youth Art Books 2000 (Booklist), and Notable Children's Trade Books in the Field of Social Studies 2001, National Council for SS & Child. He continues to dreamJohn Mote, the author of Dodging Erasers as he recalls a time when his sixth grade teacher threw an eraser at him in order to interrupt his daydreaming, sees numerous times throughout his life when various events occurred which caused him to wonder whether he should stop dreaming. When WW2 broke out, John was in college, and, as an active member of a student group, and was in the process of going into the ministry. The U.S. involvement in the war had a strong impact on the group. He and one other member of the group decided to register as conscientious objectors. When his request for C.O. status was turned down, and he was asked to report for induction, he decided that, rather than go to prison, he would go into the service as a non-combatant. He continued to appeal for C.O status. From the time he entered the army, he found it to be a real struggle. When he befriended a black artist he met at a USO, his commanding officer ordered him to give up his relationship with the black artist, or be transferred. When this happened, he came to the conclusion that he could no longer remain in an organization that had such control over his life that it could tell him who could and who could not be his friends, and again applied for C.O. status. When the request was again turned down, he decided that he would refuse to do duty, was brought before a Section Eight Board, and was given a "Character Poor" discharge. After a year and a half in the army, he returned to college and went on to seminary. During the next 35 years, he served six different churches, in Washington and Baltimore. Most of these churches were inner city churches which were struggling to stay alive. John's dream was that he would be able to turn these churches around. Once again these dreams didn't come true.

When Alija Osmanovic, a Bosnian war orphan who is the protagonist of Knife, goes in search of the identity of his murdered birth-parents, a sense of thwarted justice motivates him, and expresses itself as burning passion for revenge. This is summed up by the novel's title. The opening chapter describes the massacre of a Serbian village by Muslim Ustase on Christmas Day (January 7) of 1942. The sole survivor is a newborn male infant, spared at the last moment and given to a Muslim woman who lost her husband in the raid. The boy is named Alija, and is raised as a Muslim, and later comes to believe that his family was killed by Serbs. Twenty-one years later, Alija, now a medical student in Sarajevo, discovers that the newspapers are interested in his story. An article about him is published in a Sarajevo daily, and he begins receiving mail. Most of it is sympathetic but unhelpful, although he does receive an enigmatic letter which reads: You are certainly not what you are, nevertheless, you are what you are not. Alija seeks out Sikter Effendi, an eccentric and reclusive Muslim cleric, to help him interpret the enigma. Sikter Effendi, an irascible outsider, is, nevertheless, considered to be honest, because he has suffered at the hands of each regime: Ustase as well as Communist. He has responded by developing a fine sense of disgust for the human race, and he steeps himself in history, trying to untangle the threads of misfortune. But when Alija enters the Effendi s life, a transformation occurs. Sikter Effendi finds a spiritual heir. Through Sikter Effendi s mentorship, Alija discovers the truth: that his heritage is Serbian; that he was born not far away but in the neighboring village; and that his adoptive family was guilty of murdering his birth-family. A crisis of identity ensues. Each possible course of action open to him is bad. How is he to go on?

The Bronsons were the first Jews to ever live in the small town of Concordia, Tennessee-a town consisting of one main street, one bank, one drugstore, one picture show, one feed and seed, one hardware store, one beauty parlor, one barber shop, one blacksmith, and many Christian churches. That didn't stop Aaron Bronson, a Russian immigrant, from moving his young family out of New York by horse and wagon and journeying to this remote corner of the South to open a small dry goods store, Bronson's Low-Priced Store. Never mind that he was greeted with "Danged if I ever heard tell of a Jew storekeeper afore." Never mind that all the townspeople were suspicious of any strangers. Never mind that the Klan actively discouraged the presence of outsiders. Aaron Bronson bravely established a business and proved in the process that his family could make a home, and a life, anywhere. With great fondness and a fine dry wit, Stella Suberman tells the story of her family in an account that Kirkus Reviews, in a starred review, described as "a gem...Vividly told and captivating in its humanity." Now available for the first time in paperback, here is the book that the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said was "forthright. . . . not a revisionist history of Jewish life in the small-town South but . . . written within the context of the 1920s, making it valuable history as well as a moving family story."

The melodies on Racehorse are poppy, the delivery and phrasing loose, the writing modern and reminiscent of classic '60s and '70s pop. HOLLY's voice can be sweet as a child's or sexy as a woman's, but her stories are always wise, heartbreaking and funny. The attitude remains punk with an edge that continues to earn HOLLY comparisons to some of her musical heroes, like the New York Dolls' Johnny Thunders. "My heroes Dee Dee Ramone and Iggy Pop have both come to my shows," she proudly says. You can take the girl out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the girl. Take for example singer-songwriter HOLLY RAMOS. A true New Yorker born and bred in Manhattan, HOLLY now lives in sunny El-Lay but maintains her Big Apple street cred and possesses a voice she describes as "pure Bronx." On Racehorse, her debut album as a solo artist, HOLLY seamlessly segues from punk princess to Americana sweetheart. In a previous incarnation, HOLLY was front woman of downtown punk trio Fur, who released their self titled CD and a handful of singles on Blackout! Records in the 1990s. Further ingraining herself into "the scene," HOLLY was well known as a vinyl-only DJ at the notorious Greendoor parties throughout the '90s. During her illustrious punk past, HOLLY played guitar backing up a solo Joey Ramone at an infamous Christmas show at Coney Island High, performed everywhere from CBGB's and Jackie 60 to New York City's Museum of Contemporary Art, and toured the US and Europe. Her experiences are referenced in Steve Blush's "American Hardcore," the definitive book on the history of hardcore punk music. HOLLY can be seen on the silver screen in the principal role of Natalie in the indie cult feature film "Margarita Happy Hour," directed by Ilya Chaiken, and starring in the official Sundance Film Festival selection, "The 100 Lover's of Jesus Reynolds," also directed by Chaiken. But first and foremost, HOLLY is a musician. "I am a singer songwriter, have been forever.
