The Doctor and Jo visit the Master in his high-security prison on an island off the south coast of England and hear from the governor, Colonel Trenchard, that ships have been mysteriously disappearing at sea. Investigating, the Doctor learns from the Naval base commander that the sinkings are centred around an abandoned sea fort. Visiting the fort, the Doctor and Jo are attacked by a â??Sea Devilâ? - an amphibious breed of the prehistoric creatures or â??Siluriansâ? encountered by the Doctor not long before. The Master is secretly building a machine to wake the Sea Devils from their hibernation, so that they can reclaim Earth from the human population. The Doctor tries to broker peace between them and humankind, but is captured by the Master. As the time approaches, the Doctorâ?TMs only hope to save the human race lies in sabotaging the device and entombing the Sea Devils. Description: * Celebrate the many faces of Doctor Who! * Action figure features the likeness of actor Sylvester McCoy as the 7th Doctor. * Includes an Imperial Dalek! This incredible action figure set features the 7th Doctor (as played by Sylvester McCoy) in the costume seen in the episode "Remembrance of the Daleks," with a cream jacket and umbrella accessory, along with an Imperial Dalek, resplendent in white and gold Imperial livery. Take home one of the many memorable faces of Doctor Who with this marvelous set! Mercurial and highly moral, this Doctor would often despair at the cruelty and wastefulness he encountered across the galaxies. On a trip to America in 1999, he was accidentally gunned down by a street gang and taken to a hospital where the procedures taken to try and save him did the reverse and he seemingly died, only to regenerate within the hospital's morgue! The TARDIS arrives in London in November 1963, where the Doctor and Ace discover that two rival factions of Daleks-- one loyal to the Dalek Emperor and one to the Dalek Supreme-- are seeking the Hand of Omega, a powerful Time Lord device that the first Doctor hid there during an earlier sojourn on Earth. The Daleks are focusing their search around Coal Hill School-- the school that the Doctor's grand-daughter Susan attended-- while a human military unit led by Group Captain Gilmore is attempting to resist their incursions. The Imperial Daleks eventually capture the device. The Dalek Emperor is revealed to be Davros, now with only the last vestiges of his humanoid form remaining. The Doctor begs him not to use the Hand, but is ignored. However, this is just the final ruse in a complex trap laid by the Doctor. The Hand of Omega utterly destroys the Dalek home planet, Skaro, and then returns to destroy their forces orbiting Earth.

Journalist Sarah Jane Smith covertly gains access to a research centre where top scientists are being held in protective custody whilst UNIT investigates the disappearance of a number of their colleagues. The missing scientists have been kidnapped by a Sontaran, Linx, and taken back to medieval England, where they are working under hypnosis to repair his crashed spaceship. The Third Doctor follows in the TARDIS, and Sarah Jane stows away. In return for shelter, Linx has provided a robber baron called Irongron with anachronistically advanced weapons to use in attacks on neighbouring castles. The Doctor helps Sir Edward of Wessex to repel one such attack, then he and Sarah Jane conspire to drug the food in Irongron's kitchens so that the weapons can be removed while the men are unconscious. Aided by one of the kidnapped scientists, Rubeish, he then sends the others back to the 20th Century using Linx's primitive time travel equipment. Linx shoots Irongron down and gets ready to leave in his repaired ship. Hal, one of Sir Edward's archers, fires an arrow into the vulnerable probic vent at the back of his neck, killing him. The Doctor, Sarah Jane and Hal escape just before the ship explodes, destroying the castle. In this exclusive set from Underground Toys we present the Classic Sontaran: Commander Linx and his iconic Sontaran space ship along with the Third Doctor in Green Jacket and Sonic Screwdriver. The Sixth Doctor, fending off the Cybermen! Sixth Doctor and Stealth Cyberman Action Figures from Doctor Who. The Doctor comes with a signal tracker, Cyberman with a Cybergun! Who will prevail In this splendid action figure 2-pack, the Sixth Doctor and a Stealth Cyberman are based on the Doctor Who episode 'Attack of the Cybermen.' The Sixth Doctor comes with a signal-tracker accessory, and the Cyberman is equipped with a Cybergun. They stand about 5 1/2-inches tall, ready to duke it out to determine the fate of Earth and the Cyberman homeworld of Mondas! Who will prevail? Loud, bragging, and colorful, this extravagant Doctor hid his vulnerability and caring nature behind a boastful mask of alien disinterest. After once again being put on trial by the Time Lords, The Doctor's TARDIS was shot out of the skies by his old enemy the Rani, and the subsequent crash triggered a regeneration. In the Doctor Who episode 'Attack of the Cybermen,' the TARDIS is lured to Earth in 1985, where our heroes encounter a group of Cybermen based in London's sewers. The Doctor and Peri are captured and forced to take the Cybermen in the TARDIS to the Cybermen's home planet of Telos. The Cybermen have stolen a time vessel from another race and plan to change history by crashing Halley's Comet into Earth and obliterating it before it can bring about the demise of their original homeworld, Mondas, in 1986.

An anachronistic twelve-million-year-old human skull has been discovered by archaeologists and is now being used by Professor Fendelman in his time scanner experiments at Fetch Priory in contemporary England. The skull is actually an artifact of the Fendahl, an ancient creature that feeds on the life force of others. Drawn by the operation of the scanner, the Fourth Doctor and Leela arrive as the experiments reach a peak. The skull is exerting an influence over the mind of Thea Ransome, one of the scientists in Fendelman's team, and glowing with power each time the scanner is activated. Thea is eventually transformed into the Fendahl core, and a group of acolytes assembled by Maximillian Stael - another of Fendelman's team, who is trying to harness the creature's power for his own ends - are converted into snake-like Fendahleen. The Doctor shows the remaining scientist, Adam Colby, and two locals, Martha Tyler and her son Jack, how to defend themselves against the Fendahleen using rock salt. By activating the scanner once more, he triggers an implosion that destroys both the Priory and the Fendahl core. Kicking off with a jam-packed Christmas special and ending
... Read more
Kicking off with a jam-packed Christmas special and ending with a blockbuster extended closing instalment, Doctor Who?s fourth series since it was revived is a breathless, exciting one, that also boasts some exceptional episodes. You get fourteen episodes for your money here, and the ones in particular to watch out for are the outstanding Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead double header, the almost single-location creepfest that is Midnight, and the trio of Turn Left, The Stolen Earth and Journey?s End that round off the series. In the midst of those is also one of the very best cliffhangers that Doctor Who has ever employed in its long and glorious history. This is also the series of Doctor Who that introduces Catherine Tate as full-time companion Donna Noble, working alongside David Tennant?s Doctor across time and space. And it?s--against initial expectations--arguably the best combination since the show returned. Here, there?s no hint of romance between the pair, as they instead knuckle down to business, occasionally helped by the likes of Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman), Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) and Jack Harkness (John Barrowman). Let?s not forget too the collection of monsters we meet this time round. The daleks and Davros are the main attractions in Doctor Who Series 4, while the return of the Sontarans proves to be a bit of a disappointment. But, after viewing the series, chances are you?ll be counting shadows around you, and wary of getting on the wrong side of the Ood. As with most series of Doctor Who, there are one or two bumpy episodes and missteps, but this is still unmatched at what it does, and finds the show in even more confident form than last time round. That, along with the immense rewatch value, is what makes this terrific piece of family entertainment such a compelling buy. --Simon Brew
