The Mitutoyo 500-465 is one of Mitutoyo’s Series 500 MyCal Solar Absolute Digimatic Calipers. It is made of durable hardened stainless steel and uses Mitutoyo’s ABSOLUTE linear encoder technology. Its hard-coated solar panels protect the solar cells storing energy for operation. Through solar power, you can measure in any location (even low-lit areas) without the need to replace batteries. This digital solar caliper has .295-inch/7.4-mm LCD characters with a five-digit display and easy-to-reach function control buttons, such as Inch/Metric to convert from inch to metric measurements and On/Off to automatically shut off the caliper after 30 minutes. Its solar battery retains its origin point for life (even after the caliper has remained in complete darkness), without requiring the caliper to zero-set its LCD display due to low light intensity. Although identical to dial and vernier calipers in its ability to make precise measurements, this digital solar caliper also has the LCD, which clearly shows values and increases reading reliability over the other types. The 500-465’s LCD also reflects all ABSOLUTE system activities. The Absolute Scale (ABS) function tracks the origin point—even after shutoff. In environments with available light of 60 Lux or more, the caliper becomes active and you can immediately start measuring, without zero resetting or worrying about overspeed errors. You can make and compare incremental measurements without having to subtract the first measurement from the second. The 500-465 has the ABSOLUTE electrostatic capacitance linear encoder. It weighs approximately 1.24 lb (562 g) and measures outer diameter (OD), inner diameter (ID), depth, and step, where the butt end of the fixed jaw measures one end of a work piece before its upper/lower or inner/outer "steps" are measured. Outside Jaw Depth is 1.97”/50 mm, Inside Jaw Depth is .79”/20 mm, Upper Jaw Length is 1.97”/50 mm, and Lower Jaw Length is 1.97”/50 mm. Range is 0 to 8"/0 to 200 mm, LCD Resolution is .0005"/0.01 mm, Repeatability is .0005"/0.01 mm, and Accuracy is rated + or - 0.0001"/0.02 mm. Also included are inch/metric and on/off automatic shutoff function buttons. A Digital LCD Data Reading Hold function is available with the optional Data Hold Unit (959143), sold separately. An alarm alerts the user to low voltage and scale contamination and counting value composition errors. A rolling thumb wheel makes fine adjustments and a thumb screw locks the scale’s position. Response speed is unlimited. The caliper has SPC (Statistical Process Control) Data Output capability for manufacturing quality control. It outputs data using a serial data interface to a computer or other dedicated recording device using SPC cable with Data Switch (959149 or 959150, depending on cable length required; sold separately) or the Mitutoyo U-Wave Wireless Gage Interface (U-WAVE-T, 02AZD730C; sold separately). The built-in solar cells can store energy for up to three hours of caliper operation. The caliper can be used continuously above 60 Lux (or luminous fLux) ambient illumination. Calipers measure the distance between two opposing sides of an object. They make inside, outside, depth, or step measurements, according to their type. Calipers are commonly used in architecture, metalworking, mechanical engineering, machining, manufacturing, carpentry, and medicine. The simplest calipers have two legs to mark the two points and require a ruler to take the measurement. More complex calipers use two sets of jaws instead of legs and have up to two graduated scales. Vernier, dial, and digital calipers all give direct and accurate readings and are functionally identical, having a calibrated scale with a fixed jaw and another jaw with a movable pointer that slides along the scale. The vernier caliper has a scale sliding parallel to the main scale for an additional, fractional reading to improve measurement precision. The dial caliper has a cir

Free UPS GROUND shipping on this chainsaw. Offer applies to orders shipped within the Continental United States. If you order items in addition to this saw, you will be charged standard shipping for those items, but the weight of the saw will be excluded from your order. The OREGON PowerNow CS250S 40V MAX* Chainsaw Kit with Standard Battery Pack is a lithium ion battery-powered chainsaw that delivers a combination of performance and features that makes it a true alternative to many gas-powered chainsaws. For removing trees, cleaning up after a storm, pruning large branches or clearing debris from property, you can depend on the OREGON PowerNow 40V MAX* Chainsaw. The OREGON PowerNow Chainsaw, with its lithium ion battery pack, offers instant starting without a pull cord, powerful cutting with no-fade power, and long runtime. It is a smarter, quieter way to work free from the hassles of gasoline or cords. When not in use, the lithium ion battery pack holds a charge for months at a time, so the PowerNow Chainsaw is ready when you are. Equipped with a 14-inch bar, the PowerNow Chainsaw can power through logs as large as 10 to 12-inches. For smaller cuts, the CS250S chainsaw goes non-stop, cutting up to 125 two to three inch branches on a single charge. This performance may vary with user technique, chain sharpness, size and type of wood. The PowerNow Chainsaw is much quieter than gas-powered chainsaws in use and is silent between cuts. At just under 10 pounds, the PowerNow Chainsaw is lightweight, easily portable and offers ergonomic comfort. Not only is the PowerNow Chainsaw powerful, but it is free from the hassles of gasoline or power cords. The PowerNow Chainsaw starts instantly with the pull of a trigger v no pull cords, no gas, and no warm-up times. The PowerNow Chainsaw features the PowerSharp built-in chain sharpening system so you'll never cut with a dull chain again. When the chain dulls, simply pull the PowerSharp Lever for 3 to 5 seconds with the saw running and the chain will work like new.The OREGON PowerNow CS250S Chainsaw Kit features the 1.25Ah B500S 40V MAX* Battery Pack. This lithium ion battery combines high power with light weight, and incorporates the latest high capacity cell technology. One of the main advantages of lithium ion batteries is "no fade" power, which means they delivery constant power up right up until complete discharge. They don't slow down or become bogged down as the battery runs down. The B500S has no memory effect, charge maintenance and full discharge is NOT necessary to retain consistent capacity throughout the life of the battery. The premium cell technology in the B500S will last for approximately 1000 charge/discharge cycles. A completely discharged B500S battery pack will take approximately 60 minutes to charge. One of the key advantages is that the B500S is always ready; lithium ion batteries retain most of their charge when left off the charger for months at a time. The CS250S PowerNow Chainsaw comes with the C600 charger. *Fully charged battery voltage measured without a workload is 40 volts. Nominal voltage is 37.

The dial caliper has a circular dial with a pointer on a toothed gear rack replacing the second vernier scale. As with the vernier, this second measurement is a

The Mitutoyo 500-786 is one of Mitutoyo’s Series 500 MyCal Solar Absolute Digimatic Calipers and measures 0” to 6” or 0 to 150 mm with +/- 0.001” or +/- 0.010 mm accuracy with SPC output. It is made of durable hardened stainless steel and uses Mitutoyo’s ABSOLUTE linear encoder technology. Coolant-proof, it meets IP 67 standards with a dust-tight, waterproof, oilproof, and damage-resistant construction. The 500-786’s LCD also reflects all ABSOLUTE system activities. The 500-786 is IP67 rated for dust, water, and oil protection. It has the ABSOLUTE electromagnetic induction linear encoder and hard-coated solar panels, for increased durability in storing energy in solar cells for safe operation. It weighs approximately 1 lb (453 g) and measures outer diameter (OD), inner diameter (ID), depth, and step, where the butt end of the fixed jaw measures one end of a work piece before its upper/lower or inner/outer "steps" are measured. Outside Jaw Depth is 1.57”/ 39.87 mm, Inside Jaw Depth is .65”/16.51 mm, Upper Jaw Length is 1.57”/ 39.87 mm, and Lower Jaw Length is 1.57”/ 39.87 mm. Range is 0 to 6"/0 to 150 mm, LCD Resolution is .0005"/0.01 mm, Repeatability is .0005"/0.01 mm, and Accuracy is rated + or - 0.001"/0.02 mm.
