The Steinel 34874 auto body welding kit includes the HG 2310 LCD heat gun, which emits continuously variable airstreams from 3.6 to 17.6 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at temperatures ranging from 120 to 1,200 degrees F. The gun’s temperature setting can be changed in increments of ten degrees F, and the airflow can be varied in ten settings. Similar in shape to a hair dryer, the gun has four preset temperature and airflow settings that can be programmed for frequent applications, a cool air stage, and an LCD that displays airflow, temperature setting, and actual output temperature. Each coil in the heating element is encapsulated in ceramic to extend coil life and provide even heat.
