The Cuban-seed Dominican Piloto and Nicaraguan Habano long-fillers from the 2005 - 2006 harvest are blended and wrapped in a Criollo 98 tobacco binder. It's all enveloped in an exquisite African Cameroon wrapper from the 2002 harvest. Their medium to full-bodied taste includes a harmonious spicy sweetness. The smoke is voluminous and flavorful with earhty and rich notes of tea, clove, cedar and pine. The end brings in leathery coffee notes. It's an elite Cameroon cigar with the smooth taste expected from serious aficionados. La Caya Cameroon Churchill is 7 inches long with a ring gauge of 54. 24 Churchills are individually wrapped in cedar tubes and hand packed in a cedar box.La Caya has been making cigars in the Cibao tobacco region of the Dominican Republic since 1997.
