When it comes to PERFORMANCE and all-around fishability, the Mag Bass rods are our pride and joy. These rods, originally designed for pitching jigs and worms for largemouth bass have been discovered by walleye anglers, smallmouth enthusiasts, pike chasers and even light-duty saltwater folks. They're fast-action rods with a powerful, magnum butt section that gives you increased casting range, more effective hook sets (especially in deep water) and superior fish-fighting control. Fuji reel seats, with our "mag touch" exposed blank near the trigger gives you superior sensitivity as well as better casting control. You'll find yourself using these rods for EVERYTHING... jigs, plastic worms, soft jerk baits, and whacky worms. They are available in a wide range of lengths and powers, plus the more popular models come in all four graphite performance levels. When you fish for big bass in heavy cover, you need a rod that can move them out of the brush before they get all wrapped up. Heavy line, thick brush, big jigs and short tempered largemouths are what this rod is all about. If you live where big stripers and hybrids chase bait, you'll also be a real fan of the 845. Naturally, a rod this powerful can easily be used in light saltwater but it's designed primarily for heavy cover, lead-head jigs and oversize bucketmouths. When the cover gets really thick and the bass just won' t come out and chase your baits, this rod will make you a winner. It' s got all the power you can imagine in a big bass rod. It fishes heavy jigs and big plastic worms extremely well, especially when you have to go in after them. If you want a rod that can double for light duty flipping, this would be a good choice and you can handle swimbaits up to 7", no problem.

They are available in a wide range of lengths and powers, plus the more popular models come in all four graphite performance levels. A good Choice for fishing light to medium jigs and worms, the 783 was designed to fish bass, northerns and even walleyes in certain applications. But it also makes a very nice light saltwater rod for snook, redfish and specs. It's powerful, with a light tip, which allows for a good hookset, and still has enough power to move fish away from cover, without feeling too stiff. If we had to choose one casting rod for all of our fishing, the 783 would be our choice. A two-piece version of our best all around bass rod. Fish small jigs, plastic worms, soft jerkbaits and spinner baits. It's super sensitive and you won't need a big rod tube to take it with you. Whether you travel a lot or just want a great rod to store in your rig when the opportunity arises, this is a really nice option. It' s known for its multiple species capabilities and because it' s in GlX, it' s extremely light and sensitive. When you need the luxury of a two-piece rod, this is as good as it gets.

A good choice for fishing jigs and worms, as well as spinnerbaits, this rod was designed to fish bass, but anglers have discovered its versatility for pike and walleyes, as well as snook, redfish and other light saltwater species. It' s powerful, with a light tip, which allows for a good hook set, and still has enough power to move fish away from heavy cover. Also a great choice for soft jerkbaits, it' s one of the most versatile rods in our entire line. Talk to ten different anglers and you' ll hear ten different applications for it. Gl3 offers the perfect combination of price and performance.
