The Hilleberg Akto Tent is a spacious, ultralight, solo tent with true all season function. The Akto is ideal any time you need the lightest weight, all condition solo tent. It is especially good for long trips of any kind, in any season, where light weight is a very high priority. And while it was not designed for extreme use in exposed and/or above tree line terrain, the Akto has proven itself on extended polar expeditions, and so will stand up well to all conditions. This is, in part, because of the Akto's roomy configuration it will easily accommodate you and your gear and because of its remarkably strong Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric. Its single pole tunnel tent construction, very light (yet very strong) Kerlon 1200 and 9 mm pole make it best suited for mobile trips, where you move your camp every day. When we first introduced the Akto over a decade ago, we did not know that it would become as popular as it has. Although only slightly heavier than a bivy bag, the Akto offers near-luxury, all-season shelter for the solo traveler lodging that includes a vestibule and a packed size small enough to fit into a side pocket on many packs. Features: • The Akto has true all-season capability, yet its total weight is only 1.5 kg/3 lbs 5 oz • Tunnel design and linked inner and outer tents makes it very simple and quick to set up, and provides a high degree of stability in all conditions. • The single pole offers full sitting height in the middle of the tent, while sturdy fiberglass rods in the corners of the outer tent provide extra height, eliminating the claustrophobia that many solo tents engender • Pitching requires only four pegs one for each of the corner guy lines yet an additional six points provide more options for increasing stability • The Akto's ventilation system functions regardless of weather conditions, since the inner tent's fabric is highly breathable, and the main front vent integrated into the door and fully adjustable is protected by a generous hood • Lastly, the top half of the inner tent door no-see-um mesh panel covered with an equal sized, zipper-adjustable fabric panel

The Hilleberg Jannu Tent is that rarest of combinations tremendously strong and exceptionally light. The Jannu is our strongest, ultra-lightweight dome tent model, and is in some respects the ultralight version of the Tarra, but with only one entrance. At the same time, it is very much its own creature. For while it is an Ultralight tent, it is nonetheless ideal for harsh, high altitude use, and both exposed and/or above treeline terrain and protected conditions in all seasons and all weathers. Its compact footprint shines in limited-space sites, such as knife-edge ridges and small ledges, and it is very stable, even in high winds. Yet it is also easily light enough for use on long distance trips where low weight is a high priority. The Jannu's single entrance and vestibule favor lighter weight over absolute comfort, and its dome design gives it exceptional static strength for handling snow loading. As a result, it is a fine choice both for base camp situations, and for mobile adventures, where you pitch your tent every day. The Jannu was designed to be the ultimate, high-altitude mountaineering assault tent. Yet it is still easily light enough for weekend hikes in the hills. Thus, while the Jannu's strength and light weight has made it the tent of choice for alpine mountaineers, its excellent snow-loading resistance have made it extremely popular with winter campers, hunters, and high altitude trekkers. Features: • The dome design is self-supporting, and its innovative short pole sleeve and clip system construction and linked inner and outer tents make for quick, easy set up: only the vestibule requires pegging out, and in nice weather it can be completely rolled aside • Ultralight materials Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric and 9 mm poles • Multiple guy lines afford even greater stability, especially as many of the guy line attachment loops are designed to be wrapped around poles or pole crossing points • Guy lines on the vent cover add yet another level of stability to the tent • The interior is quite spacious thanks to a near vertical inner tent entrance, and only mildly sloping walls • A single entrance and vestibule afford easy access and plenty of storage space, but keep the weight very low • The entrance itself is asymmetric, and allows you to enter and exit from either side or from the end, so you can nearly always get in and out in the lee of the wind • The Jannu's ventilation system functions regardless of weather conditions • The inner tent vents can be opened or closed completely, and are no-see-um mesh backed by zipper-adjustable fabric panels

The Hilleberg Staika is a supremely strong, elegantly simple and fully free standing Dome Tent that is well-suited for any adventure. Because of its Kerlon 1800 outer tent material, 10 mm poles and completely free standing design, the Staika excels on any journey where absolute strength is the highest priority, and where terrain could create difficult pitching conditions. Easy to pitch and fully able to handle heavy snow loading, the Staika will serve admirably in both exposed and/or above tree line and protected terrain, year round, in any and all weather conditions. And thanks to its spacious two door/two vestibule design and excellent static strength, it makes a superb base camp tent, where users will leave the tent unattended for extended periods of time. The Staika is all about simple but simple does not by any means equate to "sparse." Easy to pitch, immensely stable, remarkably spacious, and quite light, the Staika is an excellent "go to" tent for any use where sturdy strength is the high priority. Features: • The Staika's dome design is completely free standing, and the vestibules are included in the self-supporting structure. Its innovative short pole sleeve and clip system construction, same length poles, and linked inner and outer tents make for simple and quick set up. Its design allows for a very compact footprint without sacrificing interior roominess • Kerlon 1800 outer tent fabric and three 10 mm poles in true dome configuration make for an exceptionally stable tent with outstanding snow-load handling capability • Pitching requires no pegs, but 16 peg points provide options for increasing stability: six loops at each pole end, one point on each of the four non-door outer tent panels, and six double guy lines with double line runners, one along each pole line • Both the floor space and head room are quite spacious thanks to the three pole structure and dome design • Two entrances and two vestibules afford tremendous convenience, flexibility and comfort. And the two vestibules are parallel to the sleeping area, so access to gear stored there is wonderfully convenient you can even get at it while lying in your sleeping bag! • Dual entrances ensure that one door can always be situated out of the wind • The Staika's ventilation system functions regardless of weather conditions, since both the inner tent's fabric is highly breathable, and since there are two roof vents integrated into the top of the doors • Extra sliders on the outer tent doors provide plenty of adjustment options, and one entire side of the inner tent door opening is a no-see-um mesh panel covered with an equal sized, zipper-adjustable fabric panel • The top portion of the outer tents' doors are made of highly air permeable yet water resistant, snow-proof fabric panels, so air flows freely, even when the panels are zipped closed • A separate vent cover ensures that the weather stays on the outside

The Hilleberg Allak Tent is simple, ultralight, and completely freestanding, the Allak is an exceptional all-arounder. The goal with the Allak was to create a completely freestanding, all season, yet very light dome tent in other words, an ultralight Staika. The Allak uses the same integrated vestibule design as the Staika, as well as a similar 3 pole structure, but it employs ultralight materials for weight savings. The result is a two door, two vestibule tent that weighs just 2.9 kg/6 lbs 7 oz. The Allak's three poles cross in three places, so it is sturdy enough for all season use in both exposed and/or above tree line terrain as well as protected conditions. But because of its Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric and 9 mm poles, it is not as stout as its Kerlon 1800 cousin, the Staika. Its exceptionally compact footprint and free standing design are ideal for tough pitching conditions, such as rocky ground and sand, and it is easily light enough for mobile journeys, where you move your camp every day. At the same time, its three pole dome structure is strong enough for some base camp use, where you leave your tent unattended, especially in moderate conditions. Features: • The Allak's dome design is completely free standing, and the vestibules are included in its self-supporting structure. Its innovative short pole sleeve and clip system construction, same length poles, and linked inner and outer tents make for simple and quick set up. • Ultralight materials Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric and 9 mm poles • Pitching requires no pegs, but 12 peg points provide options for increasing stability: • Both the floor space and head room are quite spacious thanks to the three pole structure and dome design • Two entrances and two vestibules afford tremendous convenience, flexibility and comfort. And the two vestibules are parallel to the sleeping area, so access to gear stored there is wonderfully convenient you can even get at it while lying in your sleeping bag! • Dual entrances ensure that one door can always be situated out of the wind. • The Allak's ventilation works regardless of weather conditions, since both the inner tent's fabric is highly breathable, and since there are two roof vents integrated into the top of the doors. • A separate vent cover ensures that the weather stays on the outside.

The Hilleberg Soulo Tent is a completely free standing solo tent that is both expedition-ready and ultralight. The Soulo is an intriguing combination of a number of design attributes. As with our solo tent Akto, it has a roomy vestibule; as with our Unna, it is fully free standing, and is roomy enough that if you want more vestibule space, you can get it by disconnecting a part of the inner. And like our ultralight high altitude, mountain assault tent Jannu, the Soulo is tremendously strong it has a stout 3 pole/3 crossing structure as well as remarkably light, thanks to its Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric and 9 mm poles. As a result, the Soulo is wonderfully suited for all season use in both exposed and/or above tree line terrain, as well as in more protected conditions. And like the Unna and the Allak, it has a compact, fully free standing footprint, and so is excellent for tough pitching conditions like knife-edge ridges, rocky ground, and wooden-floored sites found in some parks. It is certainly light enough for mobile journeys, where you move your camp every day, while its dome structure imparts superb snow load handling ability, making it a fine choice for most base camp use. K2 Obsethed Ski Built with Powder Rocker & All-Terrain Rock
... Read more
K2 Obsethed Ski Built with Powder Rocker & All-Terrain Rocker Seth designed a ski to handle the steepest and deepest terrain with power and confidence. The ObSETHed is built with a Powder Rocker tip for incredible floatation and and All-Terrain tail for a larger landing platform. Narrower and stiffer underfoot than the Hellbent, it is the ideal ski for fast lines and big mountain charging. Whether you?re scoping fun mini-golf lines, sending 50 footers, or shredding AK peaks, the ObSETHed is your ski. PerformancePowder: 80% Park: 20% ConstructionTwinTech Sidewall - Triaxial Braided Fir/Aspen Core FeaturesProgressive Sidecut, Powder Tip, Tip/Tail Holes/Rivets, Pre-Cut Skins Available POWDER/ALL-TERRAIN ROCKER ROCKER: Easy initiation, versatility, agility CAMBER: Control, edge hold, rebound This tip has the most elevation and longest measurement of Rocker and offers skiers a ?surfy? feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber region still exists to ensure edge-hold on firmer conditions. Simply put, Powder Rocker provides unmatched flotation in deep snow. PROGRESSIVE SIDECUT Progressive sidecut is a combination of two different radii, or sidecuts, that enhance the versatility of wider-waist skis. Standard sidecut theory is based on using a single radius. This works well on narrower skis, but becomes overpowering on wider skis, especially in variable conditions. The use of progressive sidecut on wider-waist skis guarantees improved turn initiation and hard-snow performance. SCHIZOFRANTIC INSERTS The K2 inserts allow for super fast mounting of the new K2/Marker Griffon and Squire SchizoFrantic binding system without the need for drilling. Additionally, the increased surface area of the insert rings provides 67% more pullout strength than that of standard binding screws. The Schizo binding itself uses the tested and proven Triple Pivot Elite toe and Inter Pivot Heel with an ultra lightweight, low stand height track and cable system that enables you to mount once and adjust a full 6cm along the ski from core center for the park to traditional center for powder. POWDER-SPECIFIC TIP DESIGN The widest point of a powder tip is 7cm back from the standard contact point. The design adds stability and predictability while skiing and is less likely to hook or grab in light crusts or variable conditions. DIRECTIONAL TAPER Moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the skis performance in the forward direction. This means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch. TWIN TIP SPECIFIC SKI SHAPES Unlike other categories in the K2 line, our twin tips are designed to ski in both directions. The demand for products that perform increasingly well either way is now the norm. K2 has exceeded that challenge by developing unique radius and taper angles to maximize the skis? bi-directional performance.

The strong curve of the handle creates an ideal angle for prolonged suspensions and significantly increases power when pulling. Features: •Ergonomic molded handle offers multiple grip options. The length of the handle may be adjusted to fit the size of the hand and glove. •Specific shape of the shaft and the handle limits the risk of pick shift when switching hands •Fully modular head for adapting the ice axe to the activity and context. •Equipped with MASSELOTTES pick weights, the ERGO ensures precise, efficient purchase in the ice •Without the MASSELOTTES pick weights, the ERGO becomes considerably lighter for dry tooling •Equipped with a HAMMER, the ERGO can be used to place pitons •Interchangeable DRY pick is tapered at the tip (3 mm) for easy penetration, even in cold ice. The thickness of the pick (4 mm) makes it stronger when slotted and torqued. The hooking teeth, located on the bottom and top (for reverse positions) stabilize the ice axe. •GRIPTAPE on the upper handle provides better grip and thermal insulation •Serrated blade under the GRIPREST for better hold coming out of steep sections in hard snow or ice •Third adjustable handle with TRIGREST hand rest for climbing even higher, when hooking makes it possible, or for switching hands more easily

World novelty PIEPS iPROBE Carbon, an avalanche probe with integrated digital technology, provides a hit and proximity reading of every standard beacon transmitter and enables a short-time deactivation of the detected transmitter (in the case of transceivers with iPROBE support). The first tone is emitted (peep, peep ) and the LED illuminates when the tip of the probe is about 2 meters from the transmitting beacon. At a distance of about 50 cm, a continuous acoustic tone (peeeeep) is emitted and the LED remains continuously illuminated. If the transmitting beacon supports the iPROBE function, the rescuer can deactivate it by pressing the MARK button (probe handle). By pressing the MARK button again for a longer time or by removing the iPROBE tip from the vicinity of the transmitting beacon (>50 cm), the deactivated transmitting beacon is activated once more. Features: • PIEPS iPROBE is the Missing Link in multiple avalanche burials. • Indication for approaching and hitting to all standard transceivers • Unambiguous optical and acoustical indication in the handle. • The integrated digital technology enables a temporary deactivation of the already found transceiver (only beacons with iPROBE-Support) the searcher can focus on the next strongest signal! So PIEPS provides the first truly 100% perfect safety solution for multiple avalanche burials!

WONDERFULLY LIGHT and remarkably sturdy, our new Anjan is the ideal choice for mobile journeys in any terrain during the snow-free months of the year. Based on our proven, all season Nallo, the Anjan models have all the strength necessary for 3 season use in exposed and/or above tree line conditions, yet they weigh roughly 20% less than their Nallo counterparts. By design, the Anjan?s outer tent does not go all the way to the ground, so leaving space to promote constant air fl ow while still providing protection from unpleasant weather. For more venting in warm weather, both the front and the back ends can be rolled away to expose the large mesh vent at the back and the near-full mesh inner tent door. Hikers will love the Anjan?s light weight to roomy space ratio on spring, summer and fall backpacking trips, as will trekkers and travelers in hot climates. And because the Anjan models are so light, solo adventurers can choose to carry either the 2 or 3 person version for palatial comfort as well as a low pack weight.
