this is one tough material and has been specially formulated for applications such as BBQ grill covers and patio furniture covers. This synthetic material is made from 300 denier woven polyester and it has been developed to withstand everything Mother Nature can dish out.The material is water-resistant because two barriershave been added to the polyester. First, the material has an application of a water repellent chemical similar to "Scotchguard". This promotes water beading.Secondly, we have addedtwo coatings of polyurethane to the underside of the gas grill cover. This creates amoisture-resistant barrier. Other features of our Elite collection of gas grill covers include sewn mesh vents to promote air circulation (you will not need to worry about mold or mildew), and double-stitched channel-locked seams for added durability. All of our Elite gas grill covers are backed with our three-year manufacturer's warrantyand can be returned to us for any reason within 30 days of receiving them if you decide to.
