For some people, scooters are a great thing. They save gas, allow you to navigate through traffic congestion and make it easier to park closer to your destination than you usually can with a full-sized vehicle. Unfortunately, however, your exposed scooter does not have much protection against the elements as its larger counterparts do. That is where The Cover Store steps in to level the playing field with our CoverMates Scooter Cover.Made of our rich, black, 300D polyester material our CoverMates scooter covers stylishly keep your scooter out of weather's harmful way. It's more than just a beautiful face though; the polyester material has been chemically treated to repel water to keep your scooter dry. The bottom of the scooter cover has been hemmed with an extra thick, sturdy elastic band to ensure a tighter, more custom fit. Additionally, two (2) adjustable buckled straps connect underneath the scooter to ensure your cover stays on, no matter how hard the wind blows. Still not sure it will stay on despite the strong elastic band and straps? Fine, we've included 2 loops in the front and back of the cover for you to tie a cord or bungee underneath the scooter for that last extra bit of reassurance. And if you are like most other responsible scooter owners, you probably like to keep your scooter locked up with a cable lock when not in use. We thought of that too, and even included reinforced grommets on each side of the scooter cover to feed your cable lock through without disrupting the coverage of our CoverMates scooter cover.Like most things in life, though, it's the little things that often make a big difference. Our CoverMates scooter covers come with a heat retardant layer of material sewn into the rear of the cover to help avoid burning a hole into the cover. We've also sewn a label into the rear of the cover to help you determine which direction is the front or back when putting the cover on. Flap-covered vents have even been sewn near the front at the handle bars to allow for proper air circulation as to help prevent the development of mold and mildew. Every CoverMates scooter cover is sewn with a heavy-duty double stitching and no raw edges to prevent tearing and leaking at the seams.
