Pros: ok
Cons: ok
I am a 31 year old male who had child with my wife about a year ago. I bought the Sony DCR-TRV10 so that i could record all the funny silly things my son does. My old camcorder was just too big and I didn't really like taking ten minutes to hook it up every time the baby did somthing funny or cute.
I took several weeks picking out the right camcorder. I searched the web and went to tons of electronics stores and just wasn't quite satisfied until i went to Circut City. They showed my several modles, but the guy said that the Sony DCR-TRV10 was the best out there.
He did the neatest things with this camera till I just had to buy it. I love this camera because its small and easy to hook up. I record everything and send the little digital chips to my parents. The picture on the T.V. when watching these little recordings is wonderful.
My wife has dropped the camera at least three times and it hasn't hurt the camera at all, because its so durable. If you want to watch watch you have recorded it only takes a second to hook on to the T.V. I would recomend this camera to anyone old, young, active, or just a couch patato.
