The AXIS 221 Day & Night Network Camera is a high performance camera for round-the-clock surveillance over IP networks. The camera provides high quality images under all lighting conditions, which makes it an ideal solution for indoor/outdoor applications, e.g. surveillance of buildings, roads, parking areas, garages, railway stations and airports. The AXIS 221 features an automatic, removable infrared-cut filter, which enables the camera to provide color video when there is sufficient light, and black/white video in dark conditions. A tough steel corner IDN camera with a sharp 45 degree tilt on its flush faceplate to provide an overall view in small rooms such as prison cells, hospital care rooms, suicide cells, sleep labs and elevator cabs. Toughened with a thicker faceplate and LEXAN, the EX36 is designed for the toughest of prison environments. The smooth compact housing allows for tight installations without any exposed wiring, making this unit very difficult to vandalize. Separate windows for the camera lens and the LEDs allow for a perfect small-room picture without light rebound and greater installation versatility. Eighty-four (84) infrared emitting LEDs provide light energy at 850nm or 940nm. A voltage and current control board controls LED light intensity while ensuring long life. A photocell allows automatic on/off infrared operation. Lenses are changeable. Cameras can be adjusted for tilt. Pre-harnessed connectors make for easy plug and play operation in 12 VDC or 24 VAC. The EX36 camera ensures a usable high signal / low noise picture under bright light and no light conditions. One single plug-in device provides the camera, lens and infrared to capture a picture in the dark at distances from 5 feet to 150 feet using low voltage and minimum power.
