The TowerSTOR TS2CT is a hardware RAID embedded enclosure providing high performance storage for creative professional with 180MB/s. The embedded Hardware RAID design provides offload of complex RAID calculation from the computer to the unit, allowing high perfromance throughput to eSATA and Firewire 800. Popular USB 2.0 and Firewire 400 provide easy connection to various computer operating system. Since RAID engine is embeded inside of the enclosure, there is no OS compatibilty issues. With support of RAID 0 and RAID 1, TS2CT allows user to choose from fast performance on RAID 0 or hard drive redundancy protection on RAID 1. It is easy to read LCD display and allows user to manage and monitor the RAID system status in a easy to read format.
