BlackBerry 8130 Cell Phone
I originally bought this phone because of the features it came with: E-mail, GPS navigation, browser, Blackberry messenger. I am usually on the go, and I knew that the Blackberry was a decent phone, so I decided to give it a try.
I love that you can change the themes, and even create some of your own with a personal touch with different programs. Personalizing your phone makes it much more fun to have and use I think.
The trackball can be tricky to use, and after a while it can get sticky and not go where you want it to. Cleaning it can be simple, but is not recommended that you take it apart as it can break easily.
It can be plugged into a car stereo that has an MP3 adapter. This feature is great if you do not have an MP3 player and don't feel like carrying a lot of CDs in your car. Unfortunately you need to buy a large memory card so you can have a lot of songs to choose from.
The Bluetooth is easy to navigate and it is easy to sync with different items like the headset or your computer.
The keyboard definitely takes some getting used to since it is not a standard keyboard with one letter for each button and it's not like a standard cell phone with the 3 letters per button. The 8130 actually has 2 letters per button which are in a curvy pattern but is set up like a standard keyboard QWERTY.
The one thing that bugs me most about this phone is the fact that it clears text messages and call logs for no apparent reason. It is a software issue that hasn't quite been figured out apparently, hopefully with some software updates this problem can be fixed.
Also you cannot send picture messages through text only by e-mail.
All in all, it is a good little phone to use and I would say by far one of the best phones I have ever had.
Some features:
-SMS Text
-E-mail with a Blackberry e-mail or you can use a business or personal e-mail from the web.
-Easy speed dial
-Quick keys for camera and voice dialing
-Calendar
-Music
-Videos
-Camera with flash and several photo options
-Internet browser
-Calculator
-Alarm with several different options
-Bluetooth
-Tasks
-Memo
-Calendar
-GPS Navigation (With Sprint, not sure with other providers)
-Blackberry messenger
-Can download programs on computer and put them on your Blackberry
-Password keeper

Pros: Camera is clear, a lot of useful programs
Cons: Messages and call logs erase when they feel like it.
The Bottom Line:
If you are a techno geek or a stay at home mom, this phone is fun and can be fairly easy to navigate.
