This book is devoted to the investigation of heliothermal desalination plants and designing of new types of membrane distillation solar desalination plants. Sea water desalination processes have been operated on constructed pilot plants in laboratory and field conditions. Designed solar devices are small sized, simple, robust units that do not have moving parts and can operate independently. In hot, arid, remote, seaside countries membrane distillation solar desalination plants can be used in private houses, clinics and in factories that need fresh and pure water. These light, portable, mobile desalination plants can operate in extremal conditions: on ships, in the army, hospitals, remote areas, these membrane distillation solar modules can be used to satisfy the demand in fresh water in the following fields: 1.getting high quality drinking water 2.getting high purity water for medical purposes 3.getting desalinated water for irrigation and industry.
