It has been cast from a mold that was made from our hand sculpted clay original. After casting it from DryStone plaster, it has been air brush painted by our talented artists. The wood plaque is 9" x 11" and made of 3/4" pine. It has been oil stained to a medium shade of walnut. The shade of the plaque does vary and the process of taking photos also causes some variation of coloring in the pictures. The plaque has "D" hangers in each of the top corners on the back side for easy hanging. This item is comprised of two items. Item 1 is the plaque which comes with a screw in the middle of it to hang the dog on. The dog, item 2, will rest on the strip across the center of the plaque once it slides over the mounting screw. On the back side of the dog is a wire hanger that slips over the head of the screw in the plaque. Once the dog is placed over the screw, it is very secure.
