Why is water NOT enough? Pesticides and waxes are developed to be water resistant so that they can still cling to product during periods of rain and irrigation. To use: Spray veggies with fine mist. Pour veggie washer into spray bottle and spray onto veggies. Wait 30 seconds and rinse with cold water. Or, make a dipping solution by diluting 4-6 oz. of veggie wash in one gallon of water. Soak veggies for 30 seconds and then rinse with cold water. Firm produce, such as apples, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, grapes, oranges and eggplants, should be sprayed with veggie wash.
