Carl Martin Chorus xII is a dual stereo chorus foot pedal. Designed by Canadian electronics wizard Daniel Van Kranendonk, the unit is the result of five years of careful research and development. It has two identical but independent sets of speed and depth controls. Each "chorus" has an LED indicator that lights up when in use and also flashes an indication of the speed setting. The Chorus xII has a stereo output via two quarter inch jacks. The "on" switch allows you to engage or bypass the chorus. The "select" switch allows you to switch between the two chorus settings mid song or mid set without having to get down on your knees alter the controls. The Carl Martin Chorus xII is the perfect choice for guitar, bass or keyboards. It is unbelievably rich in sound, totally quiet, and most important of all, does not change the basic sound. The Carl Martin Chorus xII has a built in, regulated (+-12V) power supply which enables us to design circuitry of the highest quality with maximum headroom.

Catalinbread Merkin Fuzz Effect Pedal The Catalinbread Mer
... Read more
Catalinbread Merkin Fuzz Effect Pedal The Catalinbread Merkin is a fuzz pedal that's just rite for classic sixties fuzz sounds and beyond! Extended and refined from a classic fuzz circuit, this 3 silicon transistor circuit is very textural, varying from blunt to ripping. It's controls are simple, a volume, and a texture knob with huge range, from cleanish blend counter-clockwise to full fuzz as you turn the knob clockwise. When developing the Merkin, they chose components for sweet yet buzzing tone which still has a very touch sensitive response. The Merkin is also very responsive to your guitar's volume and tone controls so you can spend less time stooped over your pedalboard, and more time actually playing. Along with a slew of sixties fuzz sounds from the Ventures to the Stooges and many points in between, The Merkin Fuzz is able to do octave-up sounds by using your guitar's neck pickup with the tone rolled off. It works great for bass too. The life-blood of a fuzz is its power supply and the Merkin is no different. Use a carbon battery for warm vintage tone and smooth response. Use an alkaline or 9 volt dc supply for a harder sound, or run on 18 volt DC supply for even more output and an aggressive sound! Volume unity for the Merkin resides around 9:00, which means there's lots of boost on tap.

The ZVex Mastotron Effects Pedal, another in the Vextron se
... Read more
The ZVex Mastotron Effects Pedal, another in the Vextron series, is a heavy silicon-based fuzz pedal with a lot of controls - volume, tone, pulse width, fuzz, and relax/push. The relax/push controls the input impedance to the pedal. The guitar effects pedal knobs let you adjust for quieter pickups, or softer guitars, and turn it towards the relax setting as you put in active pickups, and turn it all the way to the relax setting for special effects and for line-level signals if you are re-amping a bass off a recorded track. The Mastotron's fuzz control is a wide control over the fuzz depth. Pulse width control goes from a narrow pulse all the way to a nearly square wave pulse. The tone control shaves off the high end. A sub switch lets you set how many subs you have with a "2-1-3" arrangement while the dedicated volume knob controls how loud the guitar pedal gets. Plug your guitar (or any effect's output) into the input jack. Plug the output into an amp or other effect's input. Set the amp for a warm clean tone on bypass. Turn on the pedal and rock out. Using a guitar or bass, turn the Relax/Push knob down a bit if you need to until the fuzz sounds immediate and tight. Turn the Vextron Mastotron's fuzz control until you're happy, and set the PW to square (counter-clockwise). Adjust the tone for the treble amount you want, and use the sub switch on 3 for full heavy subs for bass or 2 if the subs are overloading your amp.Set your amp on your favorite clean tone for the most blistering results, while a distorted sound can be very cool as well. Play it into your favorite distortion pedals or direct into the amp for different textures. Try putting weird effects into the ZVex Mastotron pedal and adjust the Relax/Push knob for best interfacing. If the performance of your fuzz pedal seems diminished or the LED becomes very dim, it's time to change your battery. ... Read more
The AC Booster or "Almost Clean" is part of a trio of boost pedals from Xotic. This effect can be used as a clean boost or an overdrive in one enclosure. Being the middle child is not hard for the AC Booster because it stands out as a versatile pedal, capable of a wide variety of guitar tones. With over 20dB of clean transparent boost, you can beef up a low wattage amp or even add a touch more overdrive to an amp that sounds good on its own. Create warm tones for using the two band active EQ with +/- 15dB for Bass and Treble. Active electronics means that you can either cut or boost each frequency, further adding to its versatility. Xotic uses the finest quality parts available for maximum headroom and low noise. The AC Booster also has true bypass for eliminating any signal interference when switched off. Can be used with AC adaptor or 9V Battery.

The Plutoneium Chi-Wah-Wah pedal " a revolution in Wah electronic circuit and ergonomic design. The hand-built Chi-Wah-Wah features a completely original 100% analog signal path that has the versatility to capture and recreate the legendary Wah sounds of yore, or take the effect into new sonic realms if you so desire. All of this within a compact armored housing that will take up the space of only a single standard-sized effects pedal, with an actuation designed to free you to spontaneously express yourself through your music. The Chi-Wah-Wah's diminutive size allows you to mount it on your pedal board yet leave space for even more different effects giving you maximum sonic freedom, whereas traditionally designed Wah pedals take between two and four times the space of a standard effects unit, depriving you of additional effect options, or forcing you to inconveniently position your Wah "?off board'. In addition, the Chi-Wah-Wah features Wah On Demand " i.e. you just tread on it to turn on the Wah effect immediately without having to switch it on first using the old-fashioned toe-down position. The Wah sound is there whenever it's your time to funk up some rhythm or make your solos soar and scream.

Like all DIs, the Paranormal sports a balanced line out XLR jack (with ground lift) so you can feed a front-of-house mixing board or a recording console with no loss of signal. But thats where the similarities end, because the Paranormal Bass Direct Box also features active EQ and a Slap Contour switch. Use it on stage to split a signal between your amplifier and the mixing board. Or, use it in the studio as a direct recording device. The Paranormal features three bands of active EQ specifically optimized for bass. This allows you to dial in your tone in any room, sculpting your lows, mids, and highs quickly and easily with up to 12dB of boost or cut for each band of EQ. Its the perfect solution for bassists who want the flexibility of an active system but dont want to modify their instrument. The SFX-06 also features our proprietary Slap Contour switch, which applies an additional preset EQ curve to whatever settings youve chosen with the 3-band EQ. This produces a tone thats perfect for slap playing but also works great as an alternate sound for fingerstyle or pick playing. The Paranormal runs in a single 9-volt battery or a regulated DC power supply. And like all Seymour Duncan pedals, its built like tank. ... Read more
For well over four decades I've been a working guitarist. Because of this one simple fact all of my wah models so far have been geared towards guitars. Well, I became a working bassist in 2009 and realized that I needed a unique bass wah to compliment my playing. To make sure I helped real bassists, and not just depend on my own guitarist-turned-bassist indulgences, I started working with professional bass players around the world to find what it was they wanted in a wah pedal. To all of those remarkable players, and to all you bassists reading, I dedicate my RMC9-Bass Eqwahlyzer. The RMC9 starts off with a great bass wah sound (the wah envelope extends down below 100Hz) and expands from there. A small toggle switch located under the rocker lets you change the overall resonance of the wah effect from normal to enhanced. The tone-shaping capability continues with the switchable 5-band graphic equalizer located on the front slope of the case. The EQ is within the wah circuit, only available when the wah is turned on, and then only if you want the EQ to be on. You can shape your bass wah sound like you've always wanted to, all in real-time. The RMC9 is all analog and built with double clad copper circuit boards, through-hole components in the wah circuit, surface mount components in the equalizer circuit, 5 bands of +/- 15 db equalization with center-detent sliders, LED indicator light for the EQ circuit so you know when the EQ is active, EMI resistant Karmaflux inductor, heavy-duty Italian true-bypass on/off switch, dependable one million cycle ROC-POT 5.2 wah potentiometer, and case-mounted input and output jacks. The RMC9-Bass Eqwahlyzer is housed in our new extended wah shell with a silk-screened bottom plate, multi-sparkle universal black finish, and topped with a black footpad.

BJF design guitar and bass Auto Wah/ Voltage Control Filter
... Read more
BJF design guitar and bass Auto Wah/ Voltage Control Filter pedal Hand-made in Finland premium quality auto wah pedal. The SNOW WHITE AUTOWAH (SWAW) circuit is based on a 1991 BJF rack mount remote wah circuit and is tuned like a real wah. The circuit was redesigned with envelope controls and built into small size pedal. It has very fast tracking and accuracy rarely found on auto wahs/ envelope filters. With the four knobs you can have total control of the effect. SWAW works both with guitar and bass and you can fine-tune the pedal to suit your instru-ment, your playing style and your taste of tone. The pedal has a unique decay control for the filter frequency fall speed. You can set it to be fast for wah effects on every note, or slower for a more traditional auto wah sound. Like all Mad Professor pedals SWAW is hand made in Finland using only premium compo-nents, to give years of trouble free operation with superb musical tone. Controls SENSITIVITY: Sets the filter trigger level, tune this carefully to fit your guitar/bass output and your playing touch. You can further change the sensitivity from your guitar volume knob while playing. BIAS: Controls the filter resonance frequency. When Sensitivity is turned fully off the Bias can be used as a sweepable filter. RESONANCE: Controls the sharpness or Q-factor of the filter. DECAY: Controls how fast the filter frequency falls back to resting point (that is set with the Bias control). This can be set fast (CW) so you get the wah effect on every note or slow for a more traditional auto wah sound. PLAYING: Please take time to get used to the controls and as this is a voltage control filter it will react to your playing touch. The envelope control circuit is carefully designed to follow the dynamics of guitar/bass and it might take some time to master the Auto Wah playing technics.
