The tightness of sound can be adjusted instantly simply by turning the standard wing nut. SkyHat cymbals can be used separately. The bottom cymbal is very heavy, with a loud bell quality. The top is an aggressive crash in the larger sizes and a tight bell in the smallest size. To create a double bell, just place one or more cymbal felts between the top and bottom. The gap created allows the control of 2 separate cymbals when the wingnut is tight. Loosen the wingnut and the 2 cymbals can crash together when hit.
