The Plush Valve Job Distortion Pedal was designed for guitarists who want the true tone, response and feel that only a real tube can provide. This awesome distortion effect pedal has a unique 4-knob circuit, which gives unprecedented control over the most important aspects of your tone. On the input end, the Gain and Touch controls set just the right amount of distortion and pick response, based on your guitar and playing style. On the output end, subtle Tone and Level controls set both your overall lead tone and solo level. A unique bi-fet integrated circuit matched to a real 12AX7 vacuum tube emulates the smooth overload of a tube amp, with the shimmering harmonics only a tube can provide. Besides a Santana horn-like musical distortion, The Valve Job provides one of the greatest gnarly slide guitar tones you'll ever hear. The Plush Valve Job Distortion pedal has a unique "almost out of control" feel that only a real tube can provide.Like all Plush pedals, the Valve Job distortion effect features: a cast aluminum housing, industrial powder coat finish, heat cured silk screen labeling, true bypass, Cliff switch, Neutrik connectors, metal shaft controls, premium boutique quality passive components selected for tone, mil spec fiberglass 2-sided circuit board construction for consistent long term performance, and a 5-year warranty. ... Read more
Thermionic Culture's Culture Vulture Mastering Plus is the latest in the Culture Vulture range and is designed to be used both as a mastering tool and for those applications where balanced inputs and outputs are required plus some extreme distortion. It has lower noise, better frequency response, and greater accuracy in level controls by having a 3 position input gain switch and a 2 position output attenuator. Therminonic Culture uses Mullard M8100 low noise high gain valves in the input stage, a pair of GE 5725s for Distortion effects, and the Philips 5963 in the output. All are military grade valves for long life. There is an extra exciting distortion setting on the Function switch. This is labelled P2. It"s similar to P1 (the most used, Pentode setting) but goes into mad distortion and compression when the valve is overloaded. The old P2 is now P3. In addition to the line level transformer balanced output, there is a lower level unbalanced output which can be used to go to inputs that require low level or if one wants to avoid the distortion in the output transformer. The Culture Vulture is the first and only all-tube unit, dedicated to producing the best harmonic distortion money can buy. It can ‘warm" a sound gently, or create a noise like a 200-watt guitar stack overdriven with all speakers slashed. The Culture Vulture is a two-channel unit for adding harmonic distortion to a variety of input sources. By biasing and configuring the distortion tube (5725), four types of distortion with infinite variations can be achieved. Although the unit can be ‘clean" (less than 0.2% THD), added valve distortion may be quite desirable, improving naturality and smoothing off unwanted digital spikes. But The Culture Vulture can be used for effects! Push it and try it!. You have total control over the type and amount of distortion, which can be changed from even to odd harmonics or a combination of both. Starved, the sound from The Vulture becomes thin and loses its body, overfed, it becomes fatter and more rounded. The Culture Vulture features two channels that can be used independently on individual tracks, or put across a whole stereo mix. The Culture Vulture Mastering was developed for mastering engineers to add subtle distortion to a mix or pair of tracks for “warming up” the sound. The Mastering + Culture Vulture is designed to provide accurate recallable facility plus the ability for even more extreme distortion, so that it can be used in all applications where valve distortion is required. Thermionic Culture used a Mullard M8100 input valve to achieve very low noise. The extra “drive” position gives some of the bite of “overdrive” but with far less noise. The extra control over output level with the (-10db) switch allows the unit to be driven into extreme distortion but still have a respectable stereo balance. However the “P2” and “P3” positions will become so extreme that true stereo won"t always be applicable. * Transformer-balanced inputs & outputs on stereo jacks * Large indented input Drive controls with 3-position switch * Indented Output level controls with attenuator switch * 4 position Function control for distortion “flavors” * Military-grade tubes with longer life and low microphony, including matched 5725 distortion valves * Extended frequency response * Lower noise

By feeding sufficient juice (upwards of 300V) to its tube-based tone circuitry, this pedal gives you the real thing: a warm tube clean sound and a blistering, saturated-tube lead sound. Both are available at the press of a switch. The Tube Factor is the key to getting the hottest lead sounds from vintage amps and genuine tube tone from solid state combos. In effect, it expands any amp with an additional channel.

A member of the HAO "Premium Workshop" series of professional-grade guitar effects pedals, the Omega Drive Sixteen is a significant step forward from HAO's previous product offerings, including a complete cosmetic overhaul. The OD-16 is the culmination of several years of research and development by the HAO engineering staff, which included significant input from Japanese guitarists and other industry professionals.Named for its internal voltage doubling circuit, the Omega Drive Sixteen effect pedal takes an incoming power supply of 9V DC and converts it to 16V DC, dramatically improving headroom and dynamic responsiveness. The tonal character of the HAO OD-16 overdrive pedal is more aggressive than the standard "Tube Screamer" overdrive, consisting of tight and punchy lows and lower mids, along with rich, sparkling harmonic overtones. The HAO OD-16 reacts very fast to picking dynamics, offering an incredible touch-responsive overdrive that perfectly complements advanced playing techniques.Volume, Tone, and Gain controlsDirect Tone Bypass SwitchTrue Bypass Switching using 3PDTInternal voltage doubling circuitryCompact, cast-aluminum enclosureUltra-bright status LED9V battery or AC adapter operation3-year limited warranty

The new HOBO DRIVE from T-Rex Effects is a spectacular overdrive pedal thats built to put you firmly in the drivers seat. Think of HOBO DRIVE as 2 pedals in 1 an overdrive preamp and a boost pedal (with a twist).Start with a 2-stage preampAt its core, HOBO DRIVE is a 2-stage preamp controlled via traditional PREAMP and MASTER volume controls. But thats not all. A TONE control lets you customize your overdrive sound right from the start, shaping its timbre to your exact tastes. Dont worry: No matter how you set it, HOBO DRIVE delivers the warm, vintage-sounding tone T-Rex is famous for. Then add an adjustable BOOST switchOn top of the preamp core, you get a very useful boost function for soloing, single-note lines, you name it. This not only makes HOBO DRIVE a more versatile pedal, it can eliminate the need for an external boost pedal, if you normally use an overdrive sound for your lead playing. Finally, the real sauceWhen you kick your HOBO DRIVE into boost mode, it takes your overdrive sound up to the volume level youve set. But HOBO DRIVE lets you do something else: An ingenious PRE/POST switch gives you the option of boosting your signal before it hits the preamp to add even more drive as you raise the stakes with extra volume.About T-Rex EngineeringBased in Vejle, Denmark, T-Rex Engineering makes classic and signature effect pedals for the worlds best musicians. Our approach blends hi-tech innovation with old-world craftsmanship always in the service of killer tone.Controls:PreampMasterToneBoostOn/off switchBoost switchBoost pre/post switchBattery Type: 9V battery 6F22Battery Life: 1 HourExternal connectorsInput Jack, Output Jack, 9V DC jack

The Dwarfcraft Eau Claire Thunder fuzz effect pedal rectifi
... Read more
The Dwarfcraft Eau Claire Thunder fuzz effect pedal rectifies a few issues with other fuzz boxes, notably the need for a mid scoop. The Eau Claire Thunder fuzz is a classically styled distortion and sustain pedal, with a few Dwarfcraft twists. It scoops the mids for some cool metal tones. Stomping on the Eau Claire Thunder's bypass switch puts you in familiar fuzzbox territory. Volume, Tone, and Distortion controls are all active, as well as the Timewarp toggle, which flips between the traditional hi-fi sound and a more blunted stoner-rock-type sound. (Note: if your amp has a lot of treble rolled off, you may not hear much difference between the Timewarp positions.) Toneblast bypasses the tone control, giving you more mids, and a bunch more volume. You can tap the Feedback stomper at any time to trigger a momentary integrated feedback loop for cool extra noisy flavor. The Trim control rolls back your input signal - useful in case of muddiness caused by hotter pickups. The Eau Claire Thunder fuzz pedal has the most bass of any Dwarfcraft stompbox. It also sounds amazing on bass guitars. Order now and hear it yourself.Trim dial Feedback tune dial Timewarp toggle switch Volume dial Tone dial Distortion dial Feedback switch Toneblast switch Bypass switch
