The Bryston PowerPac 60 amplifier is a no-compromise modular single channel power amplifier delivering 60 watts at 8 Ohms or 100 watts into 4 Ohms. The PowerPac 60 is a modular monaural version of our very popular 2B-LP stereo amplifier but designed to be utilized in applications where portability sound quality and flexibility are of prime importance. The PowerPac 60 is a perfect choice for use as a portable power amplifier which can be attached directly to the rear of your loudspeaker. This provides for the use of very short speaker leads resulting in a much improved loudspeaker/amplifier interface. The PowerPac 60 can also be bolted on the wall for utilization in audio/video surround systems (left/right/center/rears) where a non-conspicuous power module is required. A further application would be in multi-room audio systems where single or multiple amplifiers are needed to provide music in adjacent rooms. Finally with the recent popularity in passively or actively amplifying the individual drivers in your stereo loudspeakers the Bryston PowerPac 60 would be ideal for use in this capacity. VERSATILE FEATURES: Allows direct attachment or adjacent placement to loudspeakers. On-wall mounting. Easy application in any multiple driver active or passive stereo system. Balanced or unbalanced operation at the flick of a switch. Gold plated 5-way banana jacks RCA and XLR connectors. Ground lift switch to reduce annoying hum. Level control adjustment. BP 6 C-SERIES PREAMPLIFIERS The Bryston BP-6 C-Series preamplifier is a simplified state of the art preamplifier offering 4 high level stereo inputs. Bryston’s BP-6 combines outstanding function with complete musical accuracy. It provides an exact duplication of the original recording experience without distortion or coloration. Bryston proprietary Class A Discrete Operational Amplifiers are used throughout. All signal circuitry is fully discrete to avoid the compromises phase shift and nonlinearities inherent in IC’s. Controls are practical and convenient: source switching tape monitoring mute balance and volume. The BP-6 features four high level inputs. Output is provided by two pair of single-ended RCA outputs. A headphone output on the front panel allows for monitoring and private listening. A motor driven volume up/down hand held remote control is also available as an option if required. No internal wiring is designed into Bryston’s preamp circuitry. Components plug directly into boards eliminating variations in signal travel and wire interaction. Volume controls are laser trimmed to within 1/4 dB accuracy for a firm image balance between the left and right channels. Low output impedance and high current availability allow you to run long cables between the preamp and power amp without any loss of frequency response so you can position your amp as close to your speakers as possible. The BP-6 is also available with an optional internal MM Phono Stage (BP-6P) input or our now famous Digital (DAC) input BP-6 DA if required. The BP-6DA has a coaxial S/PDIF digital input . Anyone who is tired of the marginal sound quality coming from the analog outputs of their CD or DVD player should strongly consider this system. The Bryston DAC provides an easy upgrade path that will substantially increase the resolution of your audio system.

Sold per Pair. The amazing Monitor Audio’s flagship Platinum range of speaker is a compact version of the universally acclaimed PL300 loudspeaker it is designed for an even broader range of environments. In a skilful re-sizing of the PL300 (the PL200 occupies approximately 1/3 the volume of the PL300) Monitor Audio’s engineers have taken great care to preserve all the sonic virtues and design excellence of the larger speaker. By utilising a re-scaled 6.5” version of the Platinum 8” bass driver and by re-configuring the Platinum mid-range Tapered Line Enclosure (TLE) to align co-axially with the PL200’s HiVe®II bass reflex port they have endowed the smaller PL200 with the spiritual essence of its universally admired range-mate. Just how successful Dean Hartley and his team have been in this endeavour can be measured by the near parity of PL200 and PL300 performance specifications despite the new design’s significant re-scaling. For all the practical advantages conferred by the smaller enclosure the PL200 surrenders only a little bass extension to the PL300 and cannot quite match SPL and power handling. In other performance parameters the PL200 and PL300 are comparable proving that within the new PL200 design there is little compromise. Standing at just under a metre in height (99.8cm x 25.5cm W x 28.5cm D) the compact three-way PL200 speaker features dual 6.5” RDT bass drivers a single 4” RDT mid-range driver and Monitor Audio’s proprietary and superlative Platinum C-CAM® ribbon transducer. As with other platinum speakers the PL200’s innovatively shaped and braced cabinet is finished in a choice of exotic lacquered Santos Rosewood and Ebony natural wood veneers and in a rich piano black lacquer. The front baffle is upholstered in high quality leather. The MC-12 HD is the industry standard for multi-channel processors for film and music reproduction. The culmination of years of research and design it combines the best elements of performance flexibility and elegance. Sophisticated and powerful it is exceptionally well equipped to control the most elaborate home theaters. Three zones twelve configurable inputs HDMI switching and automatic room calibration enable the MC-12 HD to easily meet the demands of discerning audio and video enthusiasts. With the myriad features available in the MC-12 HD the intuitive user interface provides complete adjustability without being confusing. Access to the listening modes input & output settings and speaker adjustments are only a few button-pushes away. The MC-12 HD provides seamless control of multi-room systems with three completely separate zones. Because each zone is independent it is possible to watch a DVD in the home theater while listening to a CD in the kitchen and recording a program from a satellite receiver to a digital video recorder. A glance at the MC-12 HD rear panel reveals an impressive array of inputs and outputs. There are multiple analog inputs including a 5.1-channel connector for DVD-A or SACD sources. High resolution 24-bit/96kHz analog-to-digital converters can be used to bring these signals into the digital domain for processing or for audio purists a true analog bypass can be engaged which keeps the signals in the analog domain from input to output. Digital audio input is available on one AES/EBU six S/PDIF coaxial and six S/PDIF optical connectors. In addition there are six HDMI input connectors which are also capable of accepting 7.1-channel 24-bit/96kHz signals on a single connection. These signals are processed at their native sampling rates through a two-stage phase lock loop achieving remarkably low intrinsic jitter and high jitter rejection. Lexicon's proprietary Auto Azimuth processing corrects timing and level imbalances in stereo signals resulting in exceptional channel separation in matrix-encoded sources. The MC-12 HD has an extensive array of audio outputs including 7 main channels stereo subwoofers and a dedicated LFE channel. The MC-12 HD Balanced adds XLR connectors for the Main and Zone 2 audio outputs; useful for installations where long cable runs are required or where there is a high risk of interference. Each output uses two 24-bit/192kHz digital-to-analog converters operating in dual-mono mode. This design provides an improved signal-to-noise ratio and extended dynamic range resulting in superior sound quality. High-precision digital crossovers and tone controls avoid the signal distortion their analog counterparts often introduce. For maximum flexibility each of the main audio outputs has independent crossover speaker distance and output level controls. The crossovers can be adjusted in 10Hz increments from 30 to 120Hz. The MC-12 HD is also THX Ultra2-certified and integrates the processing and enhancements of the THX Ultra2 standard. Automatic calibration of speaker distances and output levels is available using the rear panel microphone inputs and the optional Lexicon microphone kit. The accurate adjustment of these settings ensures signal arrival times and levels are optimal at the listening position. An optional automatic digital room EQ system provides the ability to smooth low-frequency response and remove acoustic resonances that interfere with not only bass information but affect frequency response across the entire audible spectrum. To handle the increasing number of video sources that output high-definition video using HDMI connectors the MC-12 HD features six HDMI inputs and one output. Complementing its HDMI switcher the MC-12 HD includes a broadcast-quality analog video switcher with up-conversion to component video. The ultra-wide bandwidth component video switcher accepts analog component video signals including all HDTV signals while a composite and S-video switcher accepts h

The Bryston 2B-LP amplifier is a compact high quality 60 watt per channel (8ohms) stereo amplifier intended for use in home sound systems requiring a musically accurate extremely reliable no compromise power source. While the 2B-LP has for years been thought of as an exceptionally lucid and transparent amplifier for traditional two-channel stereo setups it is now finding additional acceptance in such installations as multimedia surround-sound systems and in the most ambitious music systems with multi-amplified speakers using electronic crossovers. Features include: Completely separate stereo channels including dual power supplies to prevent any interaction between left and right signals for precise soundstaging and image quality. Green/red power/clipping lights to give immediate indication of any overload or fault condition. Rear-mounted ground-lift switching to avoid potential ground loops and system hum. Gold plated five-way binding posts and gold plated RCA connectors to prevent any possibility of long term corrosion or connector distortion. Finally higher power monaural operation is as easy as the flick of a rear-mounted stereo/mono switch. Bryston exclusively uses only the finest components in our designs such as 1% metal-film resistors polystyrene capacitors and hand-matched transistors to reduce noise and distortion to the absolute minimum. All signal circuitry is fully discrete to avoid the compromises phase shift and nonlinearities inherent in IC's. Bryston applies techniques and employs custom materials in our everyday construction of electronic equipment which are more typically found in military and aerospace industries.

BP 16 C-SERIES STEREO ANALOG/DIGITAL PREAMPLIFIER The new Bryston BP-16 is based on our world famous B-100 SST integrated amplifier. In fact the BP-16 is the identical preamplifier section from the B-100. Technical specifications are identical to the B-100 amplifier section (see pg 8). This provides a very cost effective solution for us to manufacture a full-featured versatile preamplifier for our customers. The BP-16 is a state of the art analog stereo preamplifier which utilizes ‘software’ control. The software allows us to provide many more features and functions while still adhering to traditional fully discrete analog circuits throughout the preamplifier. An example of how innovative this new BP-16 is at maintaining the superiority of discrete analog class A circuits while taking advantage of the ‘software control’ is in our new digitally controlled volume. The digitally controlled volume utilizes a resistance network on a chip. This technology in reference to the signal path is still implemented in the analog mode. It offers many advantages for instance perfect channel balance a simple integrated balance adjustment without additional parts practically zero adjustment noises first class behavior in reference to noise and distortion as well as adjustment via software. ... Read more
BP26 SERIES PREAMPLIFIERS Bryston's BP26 series preamplifiers offer a significant step forward in capturing the subtleties nuances and emotions of recorded music. Designed inside and out to reflect the improvements in the entire Bryston line these preamplifiers are a perfect match to our new SST series of amplifiers. All aspects of the signal flow are greatly improved with lower noise and distortion figures and higher overload levels. FEATURES INCLUDE Intermodulation distortion has been reduced to less than .0015% from 20 to 20kHz. The noise floor has been significantly improved reducing background hash to far below audibility. Input to input crosstalk is essentially nonexistant to eliminate signal bleed-through from one source to another. Components plug directly into glass-epoxy circuit boards eliminating variations in signal travel and wire interaction Signal switching and audio connections utilize heavy gold plating to provide long-term trouble-free connections. Gold plated balanced and unbalanced input and output connectors are standard. A 12 volt AC/DC screw terminal connector on the rear of the power supply provides for a convenient remote start feature available on all Bryston amplifiers. All BP26 series preamplifiers are housed in steel cabinets for shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference effects. Buffered inputs provide for lower distortion and improved linearity from source components. A ground plane has been incorporated in this new design to further reduce crosstalk and noise throughout the internal circuitry. The power transformer is mounted externally to eliminate power-supply noise interference.
