Explore the depths of the unknown in season two of the TWILIGHT ZONE. Funny at times, heartbreaking at others, THE TWILIGHT ZONE was one of the most unique, creative television shows ever made. Rod Serling developed the series around the premise of a fifth dimensioon, where people experience things so bizarre they can only be from a strange, alternate reality. Serling appears at the start and finish of each episode, acting as the viewer's guide through a world of paranormal experience. Consistently compelling, moral, and thought provoking, the series inspired many remakes and contemporary spin-offs. Season two contains 29 episodes, including favorites such as "Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?," and "Eye of the Beholder."

In the Golden Age of Television, almost every night offered one of the early staples of television entertainment, shows featuring cops and private detectives. Portrayed as diligent and aggressive they were also suave and worldly as they faced off against a variety of criminals, domestic and international. This collection of those groundbreaking shows brings you a wide range of styles and mod from the jazz detective Peter Gunn to the gritty drama of Highway Patrol; from the streets of LA to a world of intrigue behind the Iron Curtain. Stirred together with a tantalizing hint of sex and violence, these tales of good combating evil have a timeless appeal. The stars of these action-packed series include Broderick Crawford, Charles Bronson, David Janssen, Craig Stevens, Alan Hale, Jr., Cesar Romero, Jack Webb and many more of the fifty's most popular actors.

WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE: In this modern update of the classic Steve McQueen western television series, Hauer plays Nick Randall, a former CIA man turned bounty hunter who becomes the bait in an FBI-CIA conspiracy and finds himself pursued by an international terrorist who pushes him to the limit of survival. It seems that Nick and the terrorist, Malak Al Rahim, are linked by the past, and the two embark on a deadly cat-and-mouse game that only one man can win. Of note, Hauer's character is mentioned as being the great-grandson of McQueen's character in the original series.DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR: When Gunnery Sergeant Burns (Dryer) takes a post at an American Embassy in the Middle East, he finds that he and his team are limited in their actions due to the American Government's pedantic attitude toward the host country. Inimitably, this results in tragedy, as a fanatical terrorist group attacks the compound and takes hostages. Ignoring the requests of his own government, the gung ho Burns becomes a one-man army i

This DVD captures the legendary singer-songwriter Roberta Flack live in Black Entertainment Television's Washington, D.C., studio. In the '60s and '70s, Flack's silky, Nina Simone-derived vocals and compositions beautifully blended jazz, gospel, and soul, crossed all musical boundaries, and paved the way for today's adult contemporary and quiet storm radio formats. Flack's sophisticated and earthy classics like "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," "Killing Me Softly with His Song," and "The Closer I Get to You" are brilliantly reborn with a sleek contemporary jazz feel. Her renditions of blues standards "Stormy Monday" and "Sweet Georgia Brown" showcase Flack's velvet embrace of the African American musical tradition, which she has refined for years. --Eugene Holley Jr.

Western series proliferated on U.S. television during the postwar years, but WIDE COUNTRY was perhaps the only one set in the 1960s. It starred Earl Holliman (CRY PANIC!) as Mitch Guthrie - a world champion cowboy making a living on the rodeo circuit. Though the character achieved success, he was all too familiar with the struggles that the lifestyle presented, and therefore attempted to steer his younger brother, Andy (Andrew Prine of THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN) away from his own rodeo dreams - fearing the future that could lay in store for the young man. Episodes focused mainly on the development of the relationship between the siblings. The program featured a who's who of guest stars, including Slim Pickens, Dan Duryea, Claude Akins and Eddie Albert. This box set offers 28 episodes of the program, full and complete as they originally aired.
