Motorola DROID X (8 GB) Smartphone
I bought the Droid X used a while back. I'm glad to see that Motorola toned down Motoblur a bit and gave the Droid X a different UI system. Overall I'd say the Droid X is still a good all-around phone even compared to the newer phones that are released almost every day it seems.
The phone has very good earpeice sound quality and equally good microphone quality, however the volume from the speaker itself is very low. The screen is big (4.3 inches) some may like that other may not, but I found it to be great, and it had high resolution to match the screen and gives good picture quality and good amount of color (16M colors)
The Droid X has pretty good picture and video quality with its 8MP camera with video recording of up to 720p. To add to that I found the panorama option for pictures to be pretty interesting and put it to good use.
One problem I had with the phone however is that you could only view picture and videos through the HDMI from the gallery, which meant no streaming Youtube video's through your phone to your TV. I've since moved on to a different cell and carrier but I'd say the Droid X was a great phone and Verizon has very good coverage to give you the most out of this phone's data capabilities. However most people will probably find the Droid X2 more appealing because of it's faster processor.

I would recommend this phone even for todays users with todays standards. It can be found cheap online either through ebay or other online stores.
