This blast chiller moves food through the temperature danger zone within 90 min. to limit bacteria growth that can cause food-borne illness, making it an essential part of any HACCP plan. To keep your food safe until serving, it includes a correctional package with a locking hasp and removable plug cylinders on the door, 6" flanged legs for floor mounting, and a high-impact lexan cover around the control box to prevent tampering. A stainless steel screen protects the refrigeration system, and the unit is assembled using safety screws to prevent component theft. The interior of this blast chiller features 5 sets of universal tray slides, and each slide accommodates (1) 18" x 26" sheet pan or (2) 12" x 20" x 2 1/2" food pans. For added convenience, the door is self-closing, and includes a stay-open feature when opened past 120 degrees.
