Later when she tries to innocently ask if this friend has left any message for her before "leaving," Atwill replies that "he didn't say anything!" From there it's on to the reptile house at the zoo, where her various flames are killed by pythons, tossed into the crocodile pool, and finally a mixture of creatures is let loose to wreak havoc. Ruggles plays the zoo's press agent, as the film's much needed comic relief. Scott, who plays the hero, later became famous as a B-Western cowboy star, while Lodge, one of Burke's lovers, left his thespian career and was elected Governor of Connecticut.
