Clean new glass first with PWR22 Automotive Glass Cleaner, and then apply One Step Primer to the frit with a lint-free wipe. Apply One Step Primer to bare pinchweld metal scratches or rust areas that have been properly repaired prior to priming. May also be used on glass supplied without black ceramic frit to improve adhesion. Cleaning and Primers 1. After removing all of the old urethane to within 1/16 inch (1.5 millimeter) of the pinchweld, prepare the pinchweld following the procedures outlined in the CRL Technicians Training Manual. Prime these areas with 1214006 One Step Primer. 2. Clean the inside of the windshield with a lint-free towel 1550 and PWR22 Automotive Glass Cleaner. 3.
