The beacon is connected to the panel by a 20 foot SOOW cord that provides flexibility for positioning of the solar panel and beacon into their respective optimum locations. The beacon consists of an LED lamp that draws only .244 amps while producing a strobing flash that is visible for up to one mile. An integrated rocker switch allows the beacon to be manually switched on or off. The LED beacon is available with either a permanent mount base or a magnetic mounting base that houses a 100lbs grip magnetic for secure attachment to metallic surfaces. The SPLEDB-3 beacon is available in white, blue, green, amber or infrared (859nm-940nm).
