Apple engineers squeezed all the best features of iPod into a case weighing just 3.6 ounces and smaller than any cell phone. iPod mini features an anodized aluminium case that resists stains and scratches. The case weighs practically nothing, but protects iPod mini in your pocket, purse or backpack. Recessed in the case to keep its surface pristine wherever you lay it, the 1.67 inch (diagonal) backlit screen displays full song names and more. Like its (slightly) bigger brother, iPod mini gives you over 25 minutes of skip protection and lasts up to 8 hours on a single battery charge. So you wont pay a penalty for miniaturization.

Pros: Small, Sleek, Easy To Use, Adaptivity
Cons: Control Wheel may be difficult for some to use, no tag editor in iTunes.
The Bottom Line:
Get it!!!
I recently was helping my brother install a CD Player for his car when he told me he was selling his iPod that he bought from Best Buy back in Jan '05. I asked him if he'd sell it to me. He said yes. Only gripe, it's pink.
I love the iPod. I was using my PSP for music, but all I had was 256mb for music. Now I have 4GB for music!
It plays well. I haven't noticed any lag as I have used it, and the quality of the music that comes from it is nice.
Also, because I had bought the first gen mini, I had the firewire cable included with mine. It really does make a difference when totally reloading the iPod.
I am a business major(with an emphasis in technology), and as such, I am constantly working with computer files. I have set up my iPod to allow me to access it as a hard drive, in addition to music, and this allows me to keep any major files on my iPod.
I have also bought the Griffin iTrip. I have a review on that too.
I only have had two problems with the iPod. One, iTunes doesn't have a Tag Editor. Two, The control wheel. If I leave it in my car, it jams until I cool it off, also, it is very sensitive. It does take a little while to get use to.
All in all I think the iPod will make a great buy for anyone looking for a small, inexpsensive mp3 player.
