Very good multifunction unit

Author's Rating: Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Integrated Wireless & Bluetooth; SD & CF; Speed; Battery Life; Email; Word-Excel;

Cons: ActiveSync w/ ACT inconsistent; Cases Hard-to-find; Possible delicate USB connector

The Bottom Line:
PDA with wireless internet, Bluetooth, email, Word, Excel, synchronization with PC and more. Very good PocketPC costing little more than PDA's.

Very good business PocketPC for those on the road that can utilize wireless access for email and web browsing. I originally wanted to replace an old Palm Pilot and was looking for a PDA with calendar, contacts, memos and todo's. All this is included plus a very fair featured PC. I have just had this for 1 month and have not embarked on loading new software so I can't comment on that. I tried printing to my wireless print server but apparently only HP printers are natively supported...Need to figure out how to support other vendor printers. I have had difficulty in getting ActiveSync to reliably connect every time (I need to disable then re-enable USB)but I suspect this has something to do with the fact I use ACT! for PocketPC. Bluetooth wasn't as easy to keep running with Activesync to my PC but this may be related to the ACT! issue I speak to above. Other than these issues, the unit has performed very well for me.
Bottom line: Hard to pass up if you need a PDA with the added value of wireless internet access, email, PocketPC functionality, and access to files you've determined to synchronize with your main PC. I also store many files on the optional SD card.
