HTC EVO 4G Cell Phone
There was many Android operated smart phones before the EVO 4G but none had the features that this phone had. 4.3" large screen, 1GHz processor, and 8gb memory card bundled.
It is turning 2 years old this June but it is still a very popular phone with a lot of after market support for cases. They sell used for $150-200 so if one is looking for a good but budget friendly phone for Sprint, this is definitely a great buy.
This phone feels solid in the hand and you can definitely tell its a high end phone. The screen is large, bright, and very accurate with the touch controls. The kick stand is nice when watching a movie on a plan or on your desk. Its a very nice feature that im going to miss when I replace it.
It comes skinned with HTC sense 1.0 which very beautiful and polished. It has many available widgets to scroll through and customize the phone. It has 7 screens that can be set up how ever the user wants. I wish I was able to remove a few if I wasnt using them.
One important thing to note is that the battery life is terrible. Its horrendous. Its expected for mini computers like this to have a bad battery life but this one gets about 4 hours which in my eyes is unacceptable. A phone should at least get you through your work day. I solved this issue by buying a second OEM HTC battery online for about five dollars. Then I bought an extended battery which gives it about 8 hours of extra life.
Opened the flood gate to high end smart phones

HTC sense 1.0
Cons: Battery life
Battery life!

The Bottom Line:
A great budget friendly phone that has everything you need. There is very little the newer phones can do that this one cant.
