Make sure the hose attachment is connected to the vacuum cleaner properly before you begin sampling collection. When you're ready, simply insert the white filter tube securely into the dust collector through the opening at the angled end. You'll need to vacuum 4 separate areas for 30 seconds each, where each area is about ¼ square meter. The total sampling time is 2 minutes and the total area sampled is about 1 square meter. A minimum of 100 mg dust is required for allergen analysis. As soon as you have completed dust sampling on all indoor allergens, securely store each filter tube in Ziploc bag and label it with sample name or code. Complete the data sheet included in the kit and mail it together with the individually labeled filters to the laboratory for analysis.
