To complement the unique textures and shades of the wood, each piece is now available finished in any one of seven hand-rubbed transparent stains. The resulting furniture pieces have a casual appeal and yet are sophisticated enough for any decor. Each piece is composed of recycled wood from white oak barrels common in wine production. The barrels are originally handmade and burnished to enhance certain flavors in the wine making process. This leads to uniquely shaped and colored staves of wood that are reused to create these stylish furniture pieces. The shades of wood can also vary greatly depending on the variety of wine made in each particular barrel. After assembly of the furniture each piece is stained in a transparent finish color of your choice, which still allows the natural variations in the wood to be seen. A few of the larger pieces also use rough lumber, which is sanded by hand, leaving much of the wood's natural character for a more rustic finish. Minimize
