Perfection V33 not quite perfect, but close enough for my needs

Pros: Fair price, Excellent optics, fast scan time (even at 24bit/600dpi), good descreen filter

Cons: Need external power source, reflective object rainbow effect, gutter shadow

Bottom Line:
I can't imagine getting any more quality out of a scanner that costs triple this one, though there are many out there of the same price which are inferior. Read More at Epinions.com
