The b3 Wood is the culmination of his years playing and building guitars. It has a beautifully carved flame maple top on a chambered mahogany body with a single talon hole. The chambers add air flow and clarity to chord structure that is detailed and sustains well. The back has a sweeping contour that is extremely comfortable. Cream binding surrounds the top and continues up the neck. Ebony veneer and the b3 logo cover the headstock, the other side of which is signed and serialized by the Gene. TonePros Kluson style tuners and a Nashville style bridge with stoptail control intonation and tuning. On the electronics side, the Wood model is well equipped with Lollar humbuckers, a 3-way switch, and Volume and Tone controls for each pickup. Built-in strap locks come standard.
